DBZ in english was wayyyyy better than japanese. Goku's voice actor could scream like no ones business and Bruce Falconer = the win music wise.

I remember watching it as a kid, and I saw the Japanese versions once and the voice acting sucked. Even though I didn't know what they were saying, the voices just didn't match up. That's the way it is with everything though. Ever heard the Japanese voice actor for Snake from Metal Gear Solid? Sounds like shit.

This is going to come down to an age thing. I watched the show before it was on in the US and all you had was the original japanese voices and you two watched when it come on cartoon network.

Was Bane an anti hero after a certain point? I don't know very much about him.

I love anti heroes as well, one of the reasons I love Venom. And the Punisher.

I never used Goldberg as an inspiration. Even as a kid I couldn't get past the fact that he couldn't work a match to save his life. When he finally jobbed and his whole invincible gimmick was over with, I couldn't even sit through his matches.
