Haha that's a real working rig, we see it from time to time. It's in the same area as I work in. But I think the guys who work there have become actors and dramatize things. Tho some pretty crazy stuff does happen in this line of work lol fights r not uncommon nor is getting sh1t faced lol

Thanks. Lot of testosterone out there I would imagine. Fighting is for the younger man theses days. Getting shit faced still could happen. lol

Yeah it's all swinging dicks lol I try not to do either anymore, cuz shit faces usually gets me into a fight and I have too much responsibility to b doin that stuff anymore. I just keep to myself and go tithe gym when they all go out to get hammered lol

You work 2 on 2 off? I couldn't do it man. I passed on a job that would have payed double my current pay for that reason. They said I could be gone up to a month at a time and I said no thanks.

Psttt...I WISH! I work 11 on 4 off but I was there for 3 additional days this go around. Hey bud, whatever it takes to give my family the best life I possibly can! And if I wasn't making between 150&175k a year I wouldn't b doin it either.

No man I agree. My offer came along when my little girl was only 6 months old and I didn't wanna risk missing a lot of her firsts. Had she been a little older or the wife and I were struggling and needed the money it would have been a different story.

When I got the offer me and my wife weren't struggling but we were both working and my kids were spending over 60 hours a week in daycare. And I HATE daycares. So I opted to accept so my wife could stay at home with my boys. My 4 year old can read (small words of course lol) write his full name address and mine and my wife's phone number. Add, subtract and count money. My wife has thought them more then any preschool. I'd much rather me make a sacrifice for her to raise them and not some stranger that doesn't care cuz she's making 12/hr.

I heard that man. We were lucky enough to have a lady my wife has known since childhood to watch our little one for now. I'm trying for a new job that's 12 hr night shifts fri-sun so I can get back in school and finish a degree so that hopefully the wife can stay at home soon. The offer I had would have allowed her to stay home but would have been less than out current combined income because he majority of the increased pay was from OT and I don't like counting on that as income.
