2. Both quads
3. Full back piece
Got the ribs and quads decided. Still figuring out ideas for a full back piece.

Well... Back at the shop already. We're going to leave a buffer zone and work on the rest of the tattoo today. I think it's going to be extra painful since I'm already hurtin' from the healing process.. It's only been two or three days now since my Last session

Fresh yes but not that day or day before fresh. I will give it a couple days. Not usually an issue since i make sure i dont have to work or anything for at least a week after i get ink. Im in a lot of places that are a breeding ground for staff infections.

More than a month actually. 45 days for the inner layers to completely heal. I was just worried about sweat coming through the pores on my arm and affecting the tattoo area. I gave it a goodn long time considering the ink I just out was all along the topside of my bicep and the inside. A constant moving area and it was always cracking the scab. That and he used grey wash which hurt like an absolute bitch while healing. It swelled up to kingdom come and hurt for 5 days. Could barely ****ing wear a shirt. Wanna talk about pain?
No training happened for those days that's for sure.
Doesn't look bad but.. The picture doesn't do it justice. It was BRUISED. Guess its a sensitive area for my body apparently. Oh well. Next session on October 11!

Exactly. 1 hr tops. And thats if they even do that old school practice anymore. You need to find a better artist if they are making you keep cling wrap on you for 24 hours!!! I feel bad for ur ink

Once you start you can't stop. Small tribal on my right shoulder at 18 turned into a half sleeve. Full back piece, contemporary dragon (upper back) fighting Chinese dragon ( mid/lower back). Gonna add background to fill in what little skin remains. Right rib piece from armpit past illiac crest, ming dynasty Chinese warrior. Most painfull experience of my life. Oh, and an Egyptian ankh on my left calf. That was the result of a heavy night of teenage drinking, and the mistaken belief that letting a drunk friend ink me at a party would somehow get me laid. That night I got laid. I think...

I've got from top of shoulder to just above elbow done. About 11 inches by 5. Working into full sleeve. Next one is scheduled for Nov 13, 8 days after my son is due to be born. It's his name across my chest just below my collar bone. Currently getting it drawn up!

that whole lower arm slayer piece i posted up above didnt produce any scabbing at all. 3 days of bepanthin nappy ointment and cling film followed by 2wks e45 cream x3 per day, not one tiny bit of scabbing which is the first ever for me!
i was told the beauty of bepanthin is the fact that it keeps a breathable layer of protection over the tatt. now ive been told a dozen diff care routines from a dozen diff artists but that one was the best care advice to date. try it on your next!

Yesterday I got a full sleeve outlined, which is going to cover up an old tattoo,
I think my pain threshold is bad these days, cuz the whole time I was in pain. I'm hoping the shading isn't as bad =\

Wife wants us to get tats when we go to Ireland. Her whole family is big Irish, I'm Irish Scottish, so we might get something there.
