I use polysporne green label every 2-3 hours. I wrap it in Saran wrap every night for 5 days. Then I still poly for another 2 weeks. Only had two tattoos but never a scab or peeling

    Day 0 - 9ish(starts to peel at 7-9)
Apply as necessary to keep tattoo moist and not let it dry out.

    http://www.bio-oil.com/en-us/application/scars
    Day 9 - 99
    2-3 times a day

My tattoos are the same, or even deeper colours than when they were fresh.

Yes, it was some simple knot work inside a shield on my forearm. Nothing elaborate as I wasn't familiar with the gunner so I didn't want anything too technically difficult in case he screwed up. Lol

I traveled from Waterford to Derry along the East. Really enjoyed Dublin a lot (boxty at Gallager's was awesome!!!!). I'd like to return and see the West Coast and hopefully one day own a vacation property in Ireland.

if you have a few quid now is the time to buy, house prices are up to 1/3 of what they were 5-8 years ago, a 500k penthouse in dublin is now about 250k and multi million euro hotels on west coast have recently been sold at auction few hundread k, a fraction of their value

a nice 4bed 2,000sq/ft on a acre of land will run you about 200-300k in clare/galway

so id say your fimilar with temple bar in dublin aswell yeah?haha

Shit you pick up a 2 acre site in nice location in Clare/Galway for 40k max these days, 250k would build a very nice 2-2,5k sq/ft timberframe bungalow and the best of maple floors, granite kitchen etc with the change, if your handy with a hammer and do the second fixing yourself then your looking at change left over to kit the place out with appliances, entertainment etc, money must go further over here now that half the country is on their arse

Possibly. I made it in and out but was only there 14 days. If you like to drink, it's a friendly place to be.

Just don't have the life experience yet to get something meaningful other than one of my best friends dying in a car accident and my other best friend shipped off to Boot Camp at the moment with aspirations of becoming a US Army Ranger. I don't want to get something done right now and regret it for the rest of my life man. We'll see what happens.

On topic for a moment - Tattoos... My guy said to keep it wrapped in clingfilm for at least 3 days. Shower it daily in really hot water.

Does it really need to be covered for that long?? He said to use nappy rash cream, how many days would you guys recommend??

I disagree wrap over night first night. Then cream and air. No to the hot water it will dry the skin out. Wash with anti bacterial soap pat dry apply cream. 2-3 times a day don't let it get dry

I was thinking this, leaving it wrapped last night was enough to get my whole arm/chest very sweaty. I dont imagine that is very good for it. I'll keep it creamed but air it. Thanks CB.

Is it normal for it to seep a little? The white cream im applying has slimy black bits in it, like ink leaking out? Only very tiny amounts.

this is pretty much what I do, I'll put the cream on for a couple weeks though, after first week the dryness will be gone but I still throw some on at night, apperantly it takes a few weeks for all the layers of skin to heal fully, It has worked for me so far, 2 colour tattoos and 0 fading but that might be down to the quality of the ink, ah shit what do I know, I just sit there while people draw pictures on me haha

That normal, there only so much ink your skin can absorb so its just getting rid of the excess

got practically a book wrote on my ribs/obliques today, was expecting serious pain, and by saying this i dont mean to try sound like ''ah im too hard i didnt feel it'' but i actually didnt feel it much i was shocked, according to the artist says it all down to being good/bad artist and feeling when you are getting too close to bone

i have one on my forearm which was killer and i was drunk getting it, it a shit tattoo aswell there is errors in the spacing of letters so that particular artist was shit so it sounds like the fella today may be correct

what does any1 else think about the theory?

Sounds right to me, I never sit for less than 6 hours at any stage, pains pain, if you control your breathing & heartrate you will be able to sit through anything.
