    Interesting thread / Read...

Nice to take a break & read something different.. Hmmm to believe or not to believe.

I truly believe as humans, we would be foolish to believe we were the only form of life in a universe in which our galexy/solar system/planet is considered Young. Imagine the ones Hubble can see that are Billions of years older. Distance is insane but you never know, maybe others have better elements allowing different rules. there's life somewhere, Ijust hope in our lifetime we find anything, even a plant or bug!

Yeah that's pretty cool that several high-ranking military officers and a British secret agent who all gathered here over the weekend. Also there has been quite a few over the last year or more. Seems more and more are coming forward with information. It might be hard to deny for much longer.

Sorry . My time is short. Too short to whore :-( for the time being . All of these vids speak for themselves ...
I believe truly that there is a cover up , that we have and are being visited. Our spiritual side is important ...there is a shadow government ..

so just say there is a cover up and we are currently hosting aliens here on the planet with the blessing of the world governments.

what would happen if word got out and people realized we are not alone, and they are here, right now?

how would that make the bloke in MickeyD's flipping burgers feel? would he continue to be motivated to get up in the morning and go to work?

i don't know. or any job for that matter.

wouldn't it make it seem less important, like there are bigger issues out there that need to be dealt with?

There isn't anything interesting about flipping a burger now. It's a service that caters to morbidly obese people. But it might be the only job Mr BF can get, maybe he has a sick family? Knowing there are aliens out there is probably not going to change many people's outlook to life. Im sure a lot of religious nut jobs would declare them as demons.

I for one would just like to know what one looks like, and what it's physiology is like.

I suspect they do not have an endo/exo skeleton due to no need / no gravity in space. Muscularly they are very slight ffor the same reason. I'm assuming large eyes due to low levels of light in deep space. since they are slight and no skeleton, then a diminuative face below the eyes. As they are intellectually dominated, a large cranium, so their head could very well be shaped like a lightbulb. beyond that, i have no idea if bipedal. they will need apendages to manipulate their tools.

this is assuming they are still biological. it could very well be they do not even have bodies, and instead only a consciousness (see the singularity institute for further studies, or we can discuss here) commanding automatons to perform work for this consciousness.

Really a fascinating subject. We can take this conversation a number of different ways now if you like?

Why would they not have a endo/exo skeleton, simply because they are travelling through space? That's all they are doing, travelling. They were still born on a planet. It would be like saying, 600 years ago when the Europeans started exploring the world, they evolved gills....it makes no sense. Evolution is a very, slow process. For a life form to lose its skeleton, the species would have to spend thousands/millions of years of doing nothing but living in zero gravity. Why would they do that? Space ships are for transport. If they lived in zero gravity, how did they sleep, how did they eat, where did they grow their food?

I agree that they could have artificial life operating the ships, infact, life on other worlds could be 100% artificial, having replaced their biological masters.

Aliens with large heads are cliche, but it has to be infered that if their bodies become weaker at the expense of their brains becoming more developed, then yes...they would begin to evolve larger heads I suppose. We are also assuming that aliens will be completely bipedal like us, when they could be something closer to an insect or a cephlapod.

I think because of how diverse life is on earth, and what we know from prehistoric fossils, most organisms probably fall under the 6 kingdoms out there. On earth, it just happen to be a mammal that became the smartest species on earth. On another world, it could be something resembling a reptile.

lets flip the coin. do you think we could be the more advanced species and oneday take over/enslave another species on a different planet.

Any species that has the ability to travel from one star to the other will undoubtedly have superior tech to worlds that have not achieved this level of travel.

Something that might be of interest to those following this thread. This is the first episode of a series called "The Future is Wild", about how life on earth could look like 5 million, 100 million and 200 million years in the future. I have the series on DVD and I love it. This is episode one, and the rest of the episodes are in the bar on the left. Gives you an idea of how life could look like on another world:

Even our astronauts in one month lose a significant % of bone mass. Over the course of years, their bones would literally become egg shell thin. Muscular strength couuld then theoritically break the bones just by sheer movement/contraction. There are certain advantages of not having a skeleton in zero gravity. I can list them, but instead just think of the octopus in the ocean being able to get into very small openings, even a bottle. So three things along this thought process:

    1) "Off planet" Offspring with cartiledge instead of bones would have fewer bone breaks, and therefore be at a biological reproductive advantage to those with bones that break and therefore injured and unable to reproduce.
    2) Due to the vast distances involved, it is conceivable that it would take thousands of years to go from one star system to another that has a habitable planet. The nearest star system, Alpha Centuri, only 2.3 light years away, does not have such a planet as far as we know. During this time, it is conceivable that "survival of the fittest" evolution could take place, evolving away bone structure
    3) If this specie is as advanced as we think they may be, then it would seem reasonable to assume that they have full working knowledge and genetic engineering. As such, they may have evolved themselves into a boneless state. If this is the case, on arrival, they could just as easily reengineer bones back into their physiology.

    regarding the zero gravity.
it's not clear to me what you mean. why would zero gravity prevent sleep? our own astronauts have no problems with sleeping in zero gravity. Ordinary plants will grow in space. if you want them to grow vertically, "against gravity", then put them in a slow moving centrifuge which aproximates gravity and the plants will know no difference. this is a pretty low tech solution, don't you think?

Well, there's only two options: eiter we are alone in the universe or we are not. Either thought is astounding when one really thinks about the consequences of both.

I like all your posts Times Roman..i've always been fascinated by UFO phenomenom since I was a kid and watched all the ufo shows on discovery channel..then Ancient Aliens started airing on the History Channel...wow- there's a ton of facts they show that you just can't ignore...big blocks of granite that are cut percisely, that had to be cut with a diamond tipped blade/tool...piles of rocks that have been melted down to form to eachother so tightly that you can't even slip a piece of paper inbetween them, and that whole site screams radiation when they pull out the radiation tester....crazy stuff that is unexplainable.. It is ignorant if people say we are the only intelligent life in the universe..and I agree with underwater possibilities, we haven't even fully discovered our ocean floors!

I don't believe that aliens are responsible for the structures we see from our past.

there have been plenty of shows on the history channel that explains how it could have happened.

The simplest explanation works best for me....

....i don't need to believe in aliens to know that the pyramids could have taken as long as a hundred years to build.

understand that our our meeting media even the Discovery Channel and the History Channel or both covered and controlled someone by our shadow government

this meaning that they can use this to their own benefit such as a quote on quote UFO alien invasion which has been obvious talked about seriously among some high ranking government officials..

when the UFO disclosure does come they do not want us to believe that it is a good good thing for you manage even want us to all be scared to that we can still be controlled by fear..

also the shadow government has participated in their own abductions to scare people
so there is a small psychological effect there branching off when people get scared about being up abducted by aliens,

this one show in particular lasted an hour. it went into detail how large blocks can be moved and raised to pyramid level heights. it also talked abouut how the blocks could "easily" be carved from a quary, how the blocks could have been fitted together so precisely, and the technology and math involved, which they apparently had access to. The guest speakers were many, and well versed in their fields. The show was very believeable/credible. Given enough time/effort/manpower, pyramids are not that overwhelming to make.

Just because we may not understand something, does not mean aliens were involved.

This is how religion was created imho. We didn't understand weather patterns, and then we created Gods to explain thunderstorms and seasonal rain patterns. Let's not be guilty of doing the same thing with aliens, ok?
