It is a serious problem that the unemployment is through the roof, and the government continues to encourage it by giving out money that us taxpayers have to pay. I am not happy with either option this year, but I sure hope that whatever happens, good will come of it. It make me sick to see these people on wellfare who are perfectly capable of holding down a job. An ex employee was drawing unemployment for the last 2 years he was working with me. His wife wouldnt work. He was 25, she was 22 at the time. It was only 1 year ago since I canned him. He is getting over 20K in government funding per year, on top of what he is making at his 9-5, which he started his own business. Anyways, they drive a 2010 Cadillac STS, the newest Dodge Durango, and a 2012 Chevey Work van. They live ina house that was built in 2008, and have more money to spend than me, and I have been in business since 2002. Anyways, my feeling is that the government is wanting citizen to rely on them, in order to take away what freedom we have left. These young people dont realize that the government is wanting them to sell their freedom so that they dont have to work. It is called socialism, a milder form or communism. I dont blame any ONE person for this, but I do blame the shift in government over the last 25 years, specifically the last decade and more so now. I sure hope we, as citizens, stand up and make sure the government realizes that THEY work for US and it is because of us that they are in office. They are their for the people, not the people their for them. I sure hope we wake up!
