Can any of you guys that are here balling 50k+ a year hook me up with a job? I live in south florida and make $31k a year plus holidays, occasional overtime, vacation/pto, free medical and dental insurance. I'm only 20 years old and I guess that's not too bad for my age (yes I support myself 100% bills come out to be roughly $1300 a month). However at the end of the year when I am a florida resident I think I'm going to drop this job, go to school full time and wait tables to try and scrape by. $15/hour isn't too bad but honestly I want to be making $50k+ and I'll be O.K!

If u have experience in waiting tables. My servers at my restaurant make 80k$+ a year. That will get u through school. They only work 30 hrs a week maybe.

Wow where do I apply !! I'm actually a server on thursday/sunday nights from 5-10:30pm at a sushi buffet. I started working almost full time at this restaurant when I moved here roughly 7 months ago. When I got my full time job I asked if they could keep me on those two nights because it's pretty good side money and they did. I'll send you a PM

For most of us it doesnt just happen over night. It takes years of trial and error. Changing jobs, moving up, Saying OK to any OT they offer or work any special projects they had your way. You dont just walk into it not even after college.

There is not guarantee you will get a high paying job out of college either. It seemed that way for about 20 years but it's going back more to the true blue work experience vs degree.

This answer has me scratching my head , to me common people are the lower class ie working class this is what the upper class called working class was common people and the Labour Party in this country supported the common working man/ woman , so is it that because you are on a high pay that people below you are common , I don't know of anyone that just settles for what they have they always strive to give there family a good standard of living just that some have to work harder than others

This is a great idea. I too could spend spend countless hours chasing dollars.
I work to live and do not live to work. I own my own home and business. My bills are paid fridge is full and get a couple of vacations a year.
I spend my free time working out and Volunteering to help those with less.
This would be where you could find some humility as if those with less are just lazy or looking for a handout. Generally this is not the case.

That stuff is the important stuff. People seem to think having the biggest house or the latest things will make them happy. If that were true, there wouldn't be any millionaires that commit suicide.

And really, how much do people's interests really cost? I mean the stuff I enjoy doing, isn't really all that expensive. If I was wealthy, I'd pretty much be doing the same thing I'm doing now except with a lot of playmate-quality hookers around me.
