99% of the time I don't give to beggars. I see many of the shows about them and I have seen enough of them working in teams on street corners and seen them walk away to decent looking cars or use the money for drugs/alcohol. There are a mixed bag of nuts out there when it comes to them.

I agree. I wish it would be easy to get a job because one shouldn't be punished for being too qualified.

I have seen many programs over the years and one just last week about how most all of these groups, even the BIG well known ones at best only about 10% of the money goes to the actual cause. The rest goes into administrative cost and advertising. Funny how it's always family ran including the advertising department.

I have no idea about that but I do know most all the food sent there and most every where else never makes it to where it is supposed to and it ends up in a warehouse and rots or is taken by the government or rebels instead of the people who need it.

I'm just saying make sure you really check out any place you decide to donate to. Go to the source, in your case where the dogs are trained and see what they think about this one or some of the other places that collect money in their name.

The job of a buissnes man is to move goods not tell the user how to use. Can not show sympanthy if you want to succeed in life. As a example say a man sells 200 dbol tabs to a 19 year old what the individual does with them is up to him. This day and age people no what they want. Its called marketing and smart buissnes. You need to understand the client and prey on there needs. Like kfc and fat people pizza hut etc etc!!!

Here's another idea that needs to be discussed/explored further...

subsidize/contribute to behaviors you want, and neglect those behaviors you do not want.

if no one gave money to beggers, then it would not be worthwhile for them to beg, and they would find something else constructive to do with their time.

But when you give them money, you encourage them to continue begging, and so therefore they do.

It's the same with the welfare system.

A friend of mine got wind of my disliking of bums before and was like "things can happen and you could end up like them too." To which I replied "no, I'd never be like them. I'd pick fields and dig ditches for 10 hours a day before I end up like them." And that's really what separates us from them. They're just not willing to do what it takes to make it.

And sure a lot of them are nuts, but there are plenty of nutcases that manage to hold down jobs.

But yeah, none of them want to do anything for the money they expect us to give them. In Vegas, it was really sickening seeing them around. Every time I'd get gas there'd be a bum begging me at the pump. You go to the bank, and they'd be camping out in the parking lot begging you on your way out. Stop lights? Same thing too. They were a plague that just wouldn't go away. I wish we could just deport them to Mexico.
