Not anymore last time I gave a traveler 5 bucks cause his sign said he needed new socks then I drove back by and his sign said he needed food I almost lost it so no I will not anymore -uck um most can work. if they are vets they shouldn't have to ask our lame government should just take care of them first, rather than other countries its just common sense to me but our government doesn't seem to have that anymore

I once gave a man in New York City my leftovers. The man cried because of my generosity. I don't understand people's aversion to all homeless people. I am not the most sympathetic person, but I do feel bad from some. I also saw a homeless person with the nastiest infection in his left foot that I have ever seen.

I feel bad for some. I just prefer that if I'm going to donate, to make a bigger impact. $20 towards a foundation will go a lot further than giving 20 homeless guys/gals a dollar each. I think i've given a about 4 dollars in the past decade to individuals.

It's so tough these days. Even the popular foundations, who knows how that money is handled anyway, too many horror stories about upper management/controllers siphoning money out of the foundation. I guess at the end of the day, your intentions are what matter. Whether it's a dollar to a homeless guy at the intersection, or $5 grand to a foundation. If you can help, do it.
