All I know is that I've always been in better shape than Hazard. With the ladies, I mean...

This past summer. Ive been as lean in my early 20's but not the same muscle mass.
However foot ball season has been a little too good to me and I need to get back on the wagon. Probably put on like 15 lbs since august

19-21 was even partying then too. oh the joys of being young. I attribute most of it to not having as much stress. Stress is a killer of gains and life in general

the best shape of my life?
well, i guess that would depend on what i was doing at the time.
when i was a distance runner, i was a very lean 160 lbs, and about 20 years old. I pretty much could run a marathon any time and with little preparation. One summer in particular, i spent a few months running from the barracks to a rock quarry in Karlsrue (5 miles) while everyone else was on 10 speeds. no, they didn't have to wait for me. I kept up. then once at the rock quarry, would swim across the lake (about a mile round trip - back and forth). then later, another 5 miles back to the barracks. this was pretty much every day, and to me, seemed easy to do.
when i was about 27, i had a unique mix of strength and endurance, pulling green lumber (on the long side) at the saw mill for 8 hours a day for a few years. Many tried, most failed, trying to keep up with me without stopping the chain.
when it came to pure strength, I was about 40, and then again about a year ago. but by then, the endurance was gone. running a mile was not something to trifle with for me.
as you age, strength is usually the last thing to go.

When I was 19-20 I was obsessed with always looking like I was ready to get on stage for a figure competition (but I never did one). Needless to say I ended up gaining a lot of weight from binging after keeping that up for so long! I do miss the abs, but not the torture I put myself through haha.
