So today I woke up to hear my (common law) wife has lost her engagement ring, posssibly at the gym. I'm pretty pissed but she was bawling her eyes out so I had to pretend I wasn't mad. I'm actually feuming. Like uber pissed. That thing cost me a small fortune and now there is a stupid matching wedding band we will not be able to use. Weve been engaged for 4 years because we just couldn't afford to get married and now that we are close, I gotta fork out the cash I've managed to save to buy another stupid ring. I wanna snap! Soooooooooooo angry! How do you lose something that's supposed to be so important to you.

What would you guys recommend? I dont expect any real help but it may make.me feel better to read the things I'm thinking from other people

It is insured. But unfortunately in the last 4 years my house got robbed 2 times and I had to make claims. This has led to me barely qualifying for insurance and actually being denied renewal. Not to mwnrtion the serious price hike...can't afford another claim
