    SAD lamps

    I know most of you guys need one of these as much as you need block heaters for a car but the wife wants a SAD lamp. We live far north. Anyone ever try one?

    No never have. Do they put out UV or just heat?

    Just bright light. Uv filtered out. Im sitting here reading on them now. Wife health benefit covers up too 300.00 for everyone that lives in the house for one of these lights. Im going to run over to shoppers and grab one. Cant hurt since its payed for.

    just tell her to go tanning 2 or 3x a week. She will get all the UV rays she needs. A co worker had one at work because he worked nights. It's pretty much BS. If you wife thinks she needs one then send her to the doctor to get a hormone panel ran and find out what is really wrong.

    She didnt really think she needed one until she found out they were 100 percent covered. Haha. She doesnt do tanning anymore. Did for years but decided that she doesnt need to risk it anymore.

    SAD lamp? Covered by insurance? Damn.....

    Wonder if I can get SAD Vodka covered........?
