You're not stupid man. You simply lack experience...which is a seriously underrated commodity these days, imho. FWIW, thin skin isn't a good trait to have if you're going to hang out here. The Vets are not a bunch of "young, dumb, and full of cum" youngsters. They've been there, done that and they ain't gonna sugar coat if for ya. You're good man. Just dial it down a tad.

I'm too lazy to do that, but I can tell you my stats. 6ft, 193 lb, around 15-20% bodyfat I don't know my exact body fat percentage, I rely upon what I see in the mirror. In all cases I know I still have some fat to lose, I'm cutting ATM. Eating 1700 cals a day and lifting in the 8-10 rep range, always doing two different muscle groups at the same time so there's no rest, and with 30 min of cardio at the end of my workout everyday, so I can maintain mass while burning lots of calories. I don't know if I'm doing it right, but I'm trying my hardest!!

Having a partner that shares your goals of a health lifestyle is not wrong. But the goal is to find a partner that is right for you. Just look at Chris Powell for example. Smoking hot wife that shares his beliefs. This is his second wife.
Judging women based on looks is. Due to the fact that no matter how pretty and fit they are someone is gong to be sick of putting up with her shit.

No serious female lifters over here unfortunately. Just what you'd usually expect to see. Females in sport bras or tank tops and yoga pants or those shorts that barely cover their butt. All pretty'd up and they walk around searching for stares and will maybe hop on a machine or treadmill for a little while just to make it seem like they're there to work. I'm not complaining though. They don't come near the barbells and power rack

You remind me of how I used to behave a couple of years ago at your age. Cocky, arrogant and egotistical. It got me nowhere and looking back it just makes me shake my head. Hop off the high horse and settle down. Austinite and Times Roman, two of the guys putting up with you and trying to square you away for your betterment, are some great adults with a lot of knowledge and experience above their shoulders. It's worth taking into consideration what they're saying. Wish I knew that sooner. Not an ass kiss, just reality.

I can't wait to see you in 10 years, doing nothing useful with your life while I'm a Mr. Olympia contender.
Maybe I don't have enough muscle and too much fat at the moment, but give me a few years and then you'll see. I was doing mostly powerlifting for most of my life so far and my diet wasn't very good, but I'm changing this.Last edited by jay94; 06-17-2014 at 09:01 PM.

So to briefly go back on topic. .
When I first started in the gym, about 3 years ago, I was a skinny lad. Very weak. Couldn't bench a plate for a max kind of weak.
There was always this girl there. Very hot. wore the tight short shorts, tight tank top and sports bra under.. Didn't look very muscular at all, just really hot.
Anyways, she was on the bench next to me one day, repping with a plate+ (I don't really remember how much it was, maybe 145 or 155). I decided I needed to take this lifting serious, cause I looked ridiculous lifting 100 lbs next to this chick.
Studied some actual lifting programs, starting strength etc.. quickly improved. didn't feel nearly as bad anymore.
I wish I had talked to the girl. She was actually my motivation to stay taking this stuff seriously.
