Certainly concerned for RC Cola, he lives in Houston and it's completely wrecked. I hope he is OK.
Austin isn't as bad. Rain wont stop and some road closures, but nothing deadly here.
Thanks Bikeral.~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~

Sup Everyone!
Houston is definitely wrecked! I got out of there on Thursday night, so all good here. It's probably one of the worse I have ever seen as far as flooding goes. People are sending me pics of my old apartment building and the whole first floor is under which means that area had to have at 60-70ft of water. Have a coworker that has a foot and a half of water in it, sucks. I feel bad for all the people who are flooded and stranded. I'm waiting it out in Baton Rouge, hope the storm dissipates cause this place can't handle all that rain either.
Thanks everyone for the concern, much appreciated!!!

Seems there is a major catastrophe every couple years on the gulf, sad news. God be with the victims I couldn't imagine losing it all

Saw this morning that the low life's are looting and stealing. The Cajun Navy was shot at and they tried to take some of their boats while they were rescuing people. I think they should go back to the old days of shoot on site for looters.

I did see this over the weekend in Grand Isle, LA. It's a sperm whale that washed ashore

In my opinion the looters need shot and killed on site no exceptions

Made it back to Houston, took me 8 hours. I can tell where most of the water was, but luckily, where I live was not affected. There is devastation all around the city, will be volunteering this weekend.

Yes HWY 6 is good to go. I think people are panicking about gas shortage but there is no shortage, they just freaked and used up the gas that was there. Now we just have to wait for refills.
