Binge Watch TV Shows
So what is the last or best TV show that you have Binge Watched? In my line of work, we have a lot of downtimes so I have seen way too many shows but always looking for something good that I might have missed. I am hoping this thread will turn me onto some good shows I have yet to see.
Here is my last one. FEARLESS - It is on Amazon (Original) Prime. Great British Show. Here is the IMDb link. Fearless (TV Series 2017? ) - IMDb

That new Marvels Punisher on Netflix is pretty good. Wife likes Longmire so we watched the last season the other day.

I just binge watched all of Game of Thrones in less than 3 weeks... I had never seen one minute of it until my manager lent me the first season of it a few weeks back and I couldn't stop.

Binge Watch TV Shows
Last true binge watch for me was American Horror Story. I didn't watch TV for years, so had no idea it even existed until Hotel was out.
Ash vs. Evil Dead is a new favorite of mine, but the second season just released, and it's not long enough to be a real binge, imo.
And speaking of Bruce Campbell shows, the fact that The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. got cancelled after one season, is still one of the greatest TV travesties of the last three decades. At least it was a network length season, so still about 24 hours of run time.Last edited by Gallowmere; 11-23-2017 at 01:00 AM.

I really need to watch the whole thing. I watched the first season with a girl I was with back in like 2010, but never bothered revisiting it after we split up.
Pretty sure the whole thing is on Netflix now, so that'll give me something to do during all of my aerobic shit.

Fuck me, had nothing to watch today and little to do other than laundry for the College kids of mine so I started Breaking Bad again. I forgot what a dam good show this was. My daughter started watching it with me, at first to get some cash from me, but got into it and put it on her list to watch. She had never seen it.

If you haven't watched HBO's Deadwood, that should be near the top of your list. Best TV series yet created. Deals with the town of Deadwood popping up overnight (illegally, in the Indian territory) because of a gold strike in the Black Hills, only weeks after the slaughter of G.A. Custer. The people who built the town are trying to make it civilized enough that their businesses can be (mega-)profitable but low-key enough that the federal government won't annex their camp and put them under control of one of the adjacent states. You might find the amount of profanity in the dialogue disturbing but the author did that to emphasize the fact that these were rough people who found themselves living at the edge of civilization because they'd been thrown out of every 'decent' settlement to the east of there. They're there precisely because of the opportunities the town's lawlessness presents, so it stands to reason their language would be ...colorful. The screenwriter experimented with "period" profanities but they sounded so quaint it caused a test audience to laugh, which wasn't the reaction they were after, so they switched to 21st-Century cussin'. The dialogue is nonetheless brilliant. If you want a preview, go to YouTube and search on "Al Swearengen," the name of the character played by Ian McShane. Al is one of the town's "leading" citizens and gets some of the best lines in the series. The first three episodes have the most humanizing portrayal of Wild Bill Hickok you're ever likely to see, brilliantly played by Keith Carradine. If you liked FX's series Justified, the same guy who played Deputy Marshal Raylan Givens plays EXACTLY the same character in Deadwood, except Sheriff Seth Bullock has a little more pent-up sexual frustration and a little less gunplay. Three seasons of 11 episodes each.
HBO's Rome also was excellent. Spartacus was a shit knockoff of Rome. Better looking women, better dialogue, no cartoon blood and a vastly better crafted storyline.
I had avoided watching both AMC's "The Son" and Netflix's "Godless" when the first season of each was being aired because I figured from the titles they were religious-themed, but both turned out to be gritty, hard-core westerns. And both are at least mildly entertaining. "The Son" has some rare and period-correct firearms in it, which tells me someone went out of their way to do research to add an extra measure of authenticity.

Deadwood is awesome and I have seen it a few times. Wife hated the language but Al Swearengen was the shit!
Same with Rome (Could have run a few more season IMO)
Justified another great show. Wife loves Timothy O.
The Son was pretty good, I think it was picked up for another season.
Tried to watch Godless but fell asleep a couple times trying to get into it.

The Punisher hands down. I do think 10 episodes would have been better instead of 13, but looking forward to the next season if it happens.
A Shot In The Dark is good too.

I just realized breaking bad only had five seasons... I was thinking there was eight.

I tried giving Punisher a go. I couldn’t make it more than twenty minutes at a time without switching it off and finding something else to do.
I have been enjoying Black Mirror, though I’m only a few episodes in. It’s kinda feeling like a modern day Twilight Zone, but more dystopian.

I’m blaming Steve Austin’s podcast for my current binge watch issues.
I decided to cancel Netflix (because fuck them for never getting the new Sunny and Archer licenses and having the nerve to up their rate), and have replaced it with a sub to WWE Network. I haven’t watched pro wrestling since the Monday Night Wars era, so holy shit with the vault on this thing. I’ve been binge watching The Undertaker and DX collections. I spent about six hours watching shit yesterday, and haven’t even started to tap into all of the full PPVs and TV shows. They have every episode of Nitro, Raw, ECW, old Mid-South stuff, WCCW, etc. It comes out to be something stupid like 250,000 hours of content. I’ll literally die before I could watch everything on there, even if I did it 16 hours per day.
Well worth the tenbux, imo.
