    More than welcome, Prox!

Even on the really bad days when I want to rip the skulls off of people and shit down their neck, I'm G2G if I can slip away for a few minutes of box breathing and watch that video.
After that, I'm much more relaxed.

Spent the evening with my girlfriend’s family, helping to move her mom back and forth from an retirement community, for her dad’s viewing. Funeral is today, so I’m pushing my squat session back to tomorrow, so I’m available for them all day. Likely going to go hit some early morning tempo cardio, just so I don’t feel like I sat on my ass all day.

    Sorry about the funeral.

Every funeral I attend now reminds me wtf I am doing. I don't feel like I am going through the motions after one.

Last time I went to one they played this song and everyone was bawling and probably paid little attention to the song the little old lady had chosen as her final ballad.

I was using insulin for the first time and going hypo during the funeral. The first time I ever heard this song and I started smiling.

The old ladys family have moved on by now.
I can still rock out to the lyrics of this song though.

I didnt know the lady but I get the feeling I would have loved her.

Oh, definitely. Her dad actually meant a lot to me. Dude was just made of stronger shit than most people. Ate like shit, had multiple botched hernia repairs, ran over himself twice with an old Ford tractor (broke his legs and crawled inside to call for help the second time), and made it to 86 years old with all of his faculties intact.

Sad part is that what ended up doing him in was pride and a swollen prostate. He basically drowned internally. By the time they cathed him and got the eight liters of piss out of him (yeah, that’s not a typo), his system was just so screwed that it shut down the next day, even though he appeared to be recovering yet again.

Sorry to hear that but his pride and nature are probably what took him that far.

I’m sorry to hear about your girlfriend’s father. There have been too many deaths in our family too as of late, so I can definitely sympathize.

Thanks guys. Everything went over quite well, and I honestly can’t think of a better word to describe the whole thing, than surreal.

Never in any world did I think I’d be driving his truck to help transport his widow to his funeral, where I’d be asked by his children to be part of the family line-up. I was the only person who wasn’t an actual child of his that was put on the front line. I’ve been with my girlfriend for a long time, but the other siblings didn’t even bring their husbands to the front with them.

I'm stuck in Austin Texas right now and I'm drinking a red bull at 10:35 at night. Like I said in my other post I'm an idiot. Better than going out and spending a bunch of money though.

Guessing that you’re still there, but when you’re done - hope you had a great workout. Nice gym bro.

Tonight I'm enjoying the last few hours before I have to go to work and deal with some weirdos. There are a couple of grown ass men where I work that act like they're in elementary school. My face will no doubt turn red a couple of times tomorrow.

    Leg press on deck
    Quads are burning
    Might throw in some squats
I feel pretty fucking good except the low back pump is to much sometimes.... (probably shouldn't use cialis on leg or back days)
And I pin in the morning
    How fun

As the peak of the rut approaches, there is an increase in bucks chasing does (usually before she is receptive) and bucks tending does (usually during a doe's receptive period). These activities are often witnessed by hunters and are often what hunters are speaking about when they talk about the rut

Alcohol makes it worse for me
Scotch or whiskey is good if you can control yourself. I'll usually say fuck it and down half a bottle just to feel something out of it
