Any New Year Resolutions? Please Share
I know, I know, always talk about resolutions and no action in the end, but let's do it anyway!
I have 3 resolutions for 2019:
1: Instead of pushing everything important to the end of the day because I can, I will get a grip and do everything immediately when I wake up.
My goal is to earn more and my lazy attitude when I can is not ok.
2: I will try my first comp! Clean even, with a strict diet and training regime.
3: I will publish my first and own card game, and if all goes well my first board game.
Happy New Year! Wish you all the best!

Thing is. First time its pain and u need funny ligth weigths, but the body get used to lots of reps fast. Just turn up your music, think u are dancing with a hot bikini chick, u migth close your eyes and pump the shit out of the fibers. Stretch the muscle focia. Dont harden it with 6-8 reps.
Uops...i guess this is not the thread for such discussions lol

Mine is to leave 2018 problems in 2018 and move on to the best year yet in 2019.
And maybe compete like been saying for 2 years now“If you can't explain it to a second grader, you probably don't understand it yourself.” Albert Einstein

I want to get my shit together and my life back on track rather than living for someone elses goals (let me rephrase, I NEED to get my shit together not want and for 2019 I fucking will if it takes all the energy out of me I'll achieve what I wanted to do in 2018 and in 2019 I'll finally complete what I set out to do but couldn't)
This would honestly mean less fun/hobby time for me but I know all I need to do is schedule my hobbies and focus on what's more important than just having fun
2019 will also be a busy year for work since in 2018 there were so many things derailing me from completing certain projects and goals (work related, that now we're getting the fire lit under our asses to get shit done, so in 2019 my "fun" time is over)Last edited by EDCG19; 12-31-2018 at 01:37 PM.

This year I'm going to work on being a good FOLLOWER.
I know this bucks the internet trend of "everyone's a leader", "be your own boss"... Hallmark's "let your passion lead you"... Blah blah blah. The harsh reality is this, for most people, passion doesn't lead to work, work leads to passion.
Look at what we as a race have accomplished by being good followers... The wars we've won, the innovations we've created, the geography we've covered. It's humbling to think what we've been able to accomplish by following innovators and deep thinkers.
(Note: Yeah yeah yeah... i know someone will bring up Nazis and other "followers" who've created horrific atrocities... That's not what I'm taking about)
Here's the deal, I work in a research think tank of sorts. I've only ever worked for super-geniuses in business suits who I've respected deeply and lived in awe of what they were capable of dreaming up. But starting next week, for the first time ever, I'll be working for a woman. I'm not being sexist, it's just a fact. Her research accolades speak for themselves, she's smart. But she has virtually no administrative experience, and my job is to run the administrative side of this operation. We had five candidates for her job, and I had her ranked fifth by a wide margin.
However, the people on the search committee are also incredibly smart, thoughtful, and I do believe have the best interests of the operation at heart. And this is who they picked (it's much more complicated then this in reality, but this is basically it)
So.... Headed into this year, I'm going to forget all of what I know of her, and as long as she's acting in an ethical and moral manner, I will do what she asks and I will follow her lead.
Uh.... Shit, sorry for the lengthy answer.

This is not a new years resolution. This is the same thing as always. What I have strived for every day for the past decade. I figured I would share it with everyone else:
Be better. Be better at everything. Not better than anyone else, just better than I was yesterday. Not get stagnant and complacent, I always need to be making myself (my character, intellectually, physically, etc), my surroundings, and my situation better. I cannot, and will not, be reliant on anyone to do it for me. I will ensure my own success. Every damn day I tell myself, "I need to be better."

None taken man, I need a serious shot of something. This past year has whooped my ass. I was flat on my back and at an 8 count and didn’t feel like getting up. But I’ve never been a quitter or a pussy, especially when it comes to someone knocking me to the mat. I’ve always used it as fuel, so I got back up. Got back into the fight and am putting a serious charge into this next round. Soon I’ll be sharing my life with a really great lady who was yelling at me In my corner to not give up. I’ve never really had that and can say it’s made a world of difference.
So fuck everything that stresses me out and gives me anxiety. I’m finally going to embrace and charish what I have and be thankful.
Now, all I got to do is get the diet in check
I can’t wait to move back to Florida, so sick of the cold!“If you can't explain it to a second grader, you probably don't understand it yourself.” Albert Einstein

MS - you can do it. Just make sure your lady is into it. There is a lot of sacrifice, but with your lady with you, you can do it.
You have taught me so much, I just wish that I knew everything that you have forgotten.
BTW- Charger will always be in your corner telling you not to give up. If you don’t like that then tough shit. LOL
Happy New Year brother!

Thanks Buddy, You inspire me to get back after it. I think In the past I didn’t strike a healthy Balance. I always used training as a structure to build my life around. First in baseball, then powerlifting then on into bodybuilding. I always felt lost not training for something, especially in life. It’s hard to explain but as my training goes so does the rest of my life. Better balance, in it all is something i need to learn. It makes me respect those pro guys that can balance it all that both compete at the highest level and have a family. I think I also need to learn that just because my training is 100% on point that the rest of my life doesn’t have to be off too. One shouldn’t effect the other. Idk I’m rambling now, turning into OB

Lmfao get some lines you slope dope fat ass
If you try another 20 years you might get some shape to those little blobs. The track record doesn't look so good though.
Hey... Maybe if you try you can catch up to my 22" hideous neck that you think is conductive toward bodybuilding and turning girls on. My delts though, you will never catch driving a cab.Last edited by Obs; 01-01-2019 at 04:46 AM.

Is it possible to ban this guy for 2019?...i mean, does this member ever participiate a non badmenthal health thread without trying to ride prettier and more buff members than him?
His actions are way more off than mine were.
This place would be a better place without him.

Im with you 1000000%. I also want to be the healthiest, going to the doctor regularly, trt perscribed, the whole nine.
I have a pretty good plan, if I can get my injuries taken care of I get a work truck, I can park it anywhere in the area, Im going to park it at my gym thats between my house and the office, this way end of the day I go there to pick up my car. I get off at 3:30, so I can be done with training and be home at 4:45 or so, perfect.

I won't quit lifting n such, I just don't feel any better or worse on trt dose than I did Natty.
I think it's blood work time, if anything, just to put my mind at ease.
I really only have issues with E2 I think.
My cholesterol, per ER bloods is good.
My alt is 10 points over range.
My blood pressure is good
I just get nervous playing guessing games.
