Both you and Obs have a lot to add to this forum. You guys have differing opinions and that is fine. That is actually what makes a good forum. You both are huge also. My ear buds broke yesterday in the gym so for 45 minutes I got to hear everyone talking about the resolutions of how they were going to "make it happen" this year.
Two of the people I know asked my advice so I told them to get their ass to the gym atleast 5 days a week and quit eating shit food and that would solve their problems.
Its funny for some reason they didn't want to talk to me anymore about their "plans".

I agree that most (incl myself) break resolutions, but it's usually because they are too damn big or not important enough.
That is why I like similar things like Rich P 5% or my old work that fought for the same principle, become and be the 5% - let the 95% keep blaming and hating
I'm feeling that a lot of my power to strive towards something better comes with age. As younger EVERYTHING basically gave you a sense of accomplishment, fullfillment or similar feelings, but as you get older
your brain regarding reward become more demanding and you start to care less about trivial sh*t and old interests.
So (for me atleast) making something of myself and care for family is a priority that I cannot break, and it needs constant nourishment.
I'm rambling here but my pasta take so long damn time to cook so I gotta do something...

I try to give them encouragement. I used to be one of those overweight mofo’s. I did keep lifting though.
If I can give encouragement to 10 people and only 1 actually sticks because of it, I made a difference.
I welcome all types to the gym. Now, if you want to piss me off, put your bag by a machine like your using it and come back 10 minutes later saying you were using it..... or sit on the machine texting.
My aggressiveness is politely asking if I can work in. If you have any smart as comments, I will come unglued. I go to work out... in and out!
