Nearer to insertions. Basically toward the edge of the start of tedon taper. Not ever in the taper but near the edge.
The middle grows on its own and easily. This seems to stretch the fascia near the edges and grows fuller.
In combo with reverse grip straight barbell curls seems to lengthen it rather that make the growth only happen in the middle
