Banzai
So my dreams of becoming a banzai quarantine master are looking sad.
Been watching the new Cobra Kai series while waiting for the new season of mandalorian.
Well she looks like a dying baby maple tree now. I never took any pictures while she was at her best.
Hope she can bounce back.

It looks like an asparagus with a chromosomal defect. Lol. Maybe you should try for a cactus instead.

You realize you're turning into a grandma, right?

We could all use a little more grandma in each of us
OP, I’m inspired. I’ve always wanted a bansai tree since Karate Kid as well. I think I need to go see if I can find one...sounds relaxing.
Although slfmade is right, I may want to consider starting with a cactus first.

Considering what a shit show the rest of the Star Wars franchise has devolved into, I was surprised that the Mandalorian was actually entertaining (even to someone with Obiewan-burnout). It's a little transparent, and it's redemption-themed (I hate redemption storylines; they're just the worst sort of cheesy), but that's Disney, innit?

I have a bloodparrot fish in a tank in my bedroom -- it's a man-made hybrid fish that isn't found in nature (like how you can get a mule from mating a horse with a donkey). I think it's admired so much coz its eyes almost look human, plus it has a lot of personality and even goofs around a bit.
I have him trained now to snatch a pellet from my hand. I'm hoping one day he'll sit in my hand and let me pet him.
Don't tell the pet shop owner but I bought 5 minature 'neon' fish the other day and put them in with my bloodparrot. All five were missing the next morning.

15 years ago I had a huge Arijuana and had 3 piranha. I bought the arijuana and some guys brother gave me the piranha they looked like a pacu with fangs.
The ari was my favorite skimming the water and attacking feeder fish.
The piranha would not eat unless is was dark. But nothing like the movies more like a shark bite and run.
I just remembered how relaxing it was to watch them swim.
Those piranha were creepy everywhere I went in the room they were watching my every move.

I want human gills, i.e. some sort of apparatus that will allow me to breathe under water.
It turns out though, that warm-blooded creatures use a lot more oxygen than cold-blooded creatures. The vast majority of fish with gills are cold-blooded.
In order for a human to breathe comfortably in the ocean, we'd have to process about 100 - 200 litres of water per minute. That's a lot of water, so there would have to be a strong pump pulling in the water, along with a cavity to decompress the water to obtain the oxygen from it. The weight and size of this apparatus, along with a battery (or petrol motor) to power it, would be way bigger and way heavier than an oxygen tank, so it looks like I should just take up scuba diving.
Any scuba divers here? I see one guy on Youtube who fornicated with a dolphin -- supposedly they're in love.
