    They do allow people inside.

I honestly don't understand, what's the use of the gym being closed? Previously, it was necessary to close it until such statistics of morbidity and mortality were available. And now they are simply fighting windmills and imposing idiotic restrictions on people.

This is a much better alternative! I’m happy for you!!!

I will keep up my membership even if I never go back bc I pay so little. I’m considering a piece of cardio equipment like a cycle bike but I wouldn’t pay for monthly membership bc one month 2x more my yearly gym membership. lol

How much does a decent exercise bike go for? $400? $500?

Thanks. The place is crowded though. The only time I've ever seen this many people at the gym is during the first couple weeks of every year. If their goal was to reduce transmission of an airborne virus, forcing everybody in an area to go to the same gym and restricting the hours so everybody is there at the same time isn't a good strategy.

I do a lot of stationary type cardio type exercises

Burpees, more burpees, lunges & weightless squats

Man, I’d almost kill for a nice treadmill tho

What do you get with all that extra tech on them compared to a regular cycle at a gym?

It’s like difference between professional chef knife set and T-fal.

Cycle bike has fully adjustable for aft up down handles, seat, cycle seat (more slender & sometimes open center (kinder to women’s anatomy)! more/finer resistance settings , cardio connection, screen and monitor. Some seats and hand-bars articulate side to side. Better flywheel and reinforced structure since most of the class climbing at higher resistance or up and down and up and down. It’s intense. In a great class, running 5 minutes late, I’m hitting 22 miles in 40 minutes!

If I was ever gonna get a bike, I’d do a pro form spin bike - they can keep their screens & classes

If I had any room left in my house, it would be more tempting getting one - they don’t take up much space

We finally did... bought one I mean. I haven't killed anyone in years.

I searched for what I thought was a nice one (by Sole). Wide belt, heavy duty. About $1,100. 3 months later, still Freaking love it. 4 days a week for me, 5 for Mrs. Charlie, and the dog on rainy days. Really happy we did it.

I sure wish I had a place to put one

Seriously tho, I miss the gym quite badly - and going with a face mask on the whole time seems so uncomfortable

But, I need the equipment. Looking back(it’s been close to a year since I haven’t gone I) - all of the equipment is what made life so much easier. . . You feel like not doing much, walk in the treadmill, shoulder isn’t perfect - hit some good cables & so on
