Do you think there are gun owners out there that love listening to “The Cure”.

Can't have an insurrection with an erection, that's for sure.

Not sure about The Cure, are they considered emo?

An erection with an insurrection could change the direction for sure.

Yup they are emo. Now that would be funny to see at a shooting range, someone in a Cure t-shirt.

My insurrection would lean left. A Celine Dion or Backstreet Boys t-shirt would be pretty funny, too.

You think even with 500 of them, they'd win? And really with all the NSA/FBI/CIA surveillance, what makes you think you can even organize a group together?

And the thing is you know it whether or not you want to admit it that there is no way on earth to beat the US government with some AR rifles. You won't admit it, but you know deep in your heart that if you ever tried to carry out this Rambo fantasy, you'd either end up dead or in prison along with any accomplices you may have. And the other "whackos" that also talk about their civil war 2.0 know this too. That's why they won't do anything ever. Not to mention almost all of them don't have the savagery inside them needed to carry it out if they wanted to.
    Haha.

Nope. No trigger here. Just wanted to make sure y'all knew we're talking about the same people.

But, your absolutely incorrect here : And the thing is you know it whether or not you want to admit it that there is no way on earth to beat the US government with some AR rifles.

The US government has been beaten by little brown men wearing sandals and riding camels in the desert. With little more than Russian WW2 surplus weapons.

They've been beaten by little barefoot Asian men in the jungle with cheap Chinese rifles.

    Guerillas in Columbia, Nicaragua.

They've been beaten by scrawny starving Koreans in the mountains.

The common theme is that guerilla tactics and strategy isn't comparable to lining up to fight force against force. The entire weight of their military machine fell squarely on a small population of Arabs in the mountains of Afghanistan. And after 20 years, they still haven't been beaten. They'll leave eventually, and those people will persist.

The IRA never once squared off in force to the British military. And yet they beat them.

Because when your enemy has to sit down to negotiate with you because they can't beat you, then your no longer an adversary. But a rival for power. And that means you've won.

Don't fool yourself with notions of grandeur and invincibility. Rome fell to the barbarians. So will the democrat party empire. Most empire's fall from within. And liberal utopian empire will fall too

It's a matter only of when. Not if

But we agree completely that most of those wackos don't have the necessary steel Inside them for that task.

But 500 men who do, bound tightly by a common cause and desire, would be more than plenty with the proper tactics and strategy involved.

Gaining enough public support and sympathy would likely evolve quickly into unaffiliated splinter groups, also reeking havok. It could easily get so confusing nobody would know who was who. And every time the pressure is ratcheting up, more splinter groups appear. Yes many will wind up dead and in prison. But for every one lost, three more join.

Hell, less than 100 men could do it. Under the right circumstances.

Once again. It was the purpose of the second amendment to see it realized when necessary.

Uh yeah. I ask my kids every year about what they listen to. My God this new music is bad. I’m deaf from having to blast my earphones louder than the garbage they pump out of the gym’s speakers.

It’s really generic “rap oriented” crap. It’s just that, generic-crap. I actually can relate to kids that start talking about Notorious, NWA, or Public Enemy, but it is really infrequent. Music is tough to generate a “new” sound, it’s all rehashed garbage.

Armed "Rambos" citizens would do well in South America, here good citizens die like cattle, you have no idea what it is like to walk in a large urban center in broad daylight and be the target of fully armed criminals. I think it is totally wrong to demonize weapons, because it is not the weapons that are bad, but the intention of those who administer them. I live in South America and many countries have been disarmed by communist shitty ideologies. I have always admired the United States for seeing that things work for them. If I could have an AR-15 to kill criminals in Brazil who tried to steal my establishment, I would definitely shoot them all

Hell, in my country you need to have a fully bureaucratic registration "CAC known by the acronym CAC, as it is one of the belongings of the acronym" Collector, Shooter and Hunter ", but in Brazil it is prohibited to hunt, so whoever has this registration should just use for sports shooting, it is very difficult for ordinary people to obtain it, which takes a long time for a citizen to achieve if he is lucky and pass all stages of psychological tests. This type of document is easier for police officers, a citizens can't even buy a 38 revolver legally in Brazil.A shit !

I have two lasers mounted on my Desert Eagle, red on the top and green on the bottom. The blowback is so hard that it turns the green laser off, and so I tried opening it up to hardwire it to be always on (i.e. you could only turn it off by removing the batteries) but the nib on my soldering iron is too big (and I'm only mediocre with soldering anyway).

I'd love to get an air rifle here in N. Ireland but the law has them in the same category as real guns that shoot gun-powder bullets, and I haven't got a UK firearms certificate (yet).

Just curious davi, are you considering a mass shooting?
    Just for legitimate kimbo defense!
If bandits happened to intimidate you with guns, wouldn't you run for guns?

You're wrong, it's quite bureaucratic in many countries. Left-wing policymakers love to disarm the people and make things difficult. It seems that only criminal tramps can have weapons.

Trick is to get your arms from the same places the criminals get theirs from.

I've tried to think about how to best respond to the original topic of this thread.

It is easier and cheaper to buy weapons through criminal channels than through legal ones, at least in many areas in the US, I promise you. Whatever you want, don't have to worry about any bans. Want full-auto? Sawed-off shotgun? High-cap mags? Yeah, you can have all that too.

Local gangs sold and traded in this stuff, and some independent dealers as well. Thing is, for the most part, they don't actually like to sell guns to people they see as being dangerous or high-risk, either! It's one thing if you're a fellow criminal, quite another if you're seen as unhinged or something. Your rep is your 'background check.'

I've long since separated myself from these people and things, but I know from personal experience of what I speak. Drvgs and gvns were always readily available to me as a youth in CA. It's not like I came out of some ghetto hood, either.

The concept that Dems or anyone else thinks they can 'ban' anything is laughable in my honest opinion. The black market will always provide. The very existence of this forum stands as proof of that.

See I kind of like the music from the Death Row gangsta music. But it really was the fact that I liked bands like Parliament and singers like Michael MacDonald. I really hated those rappers talking over the songs.

Man they used to call rap "jungle music." Now it literally sounds like the rappers jumped out of a banana tree.

I love the Death Row era... music had soul. Pac was king.

It’s some jughead that’s been targeting car windows with a pellet gun on a particular freeway. Was just messing with you.

I like the fusion of metal with rap, Ice-T and Body Count. Great gym music.

Recently had a student tell me about Run The Jewels, they’re vids are damn good.

I just checked current prices of the last gun I need for my collection - it’s fucking double price of what it was about two years ago - fuck!

At least I’m happy with what I have

Hopefully, in a year, people will come back to their senses and prices will get closer to normal.
