    Jack stands - lol

I’m used to it, ever since my bran exploded I feel much better with my head elevated while sleeping. When it first happened I could only sleep sitting up - any less of a incline, the transformer sound in my left ear would b too loud for me to sleep - darn brain damage

I know exactly why they dont check for that first. $$$$ Its not the doctors, its the Damn insurance companies/lawyers who tell them what they can check for and when, in what order. its Maddening. Im going through it right now with my neck issue. Nope cant just fix the dame problem, got to do the same stupid test 3x even though the doctor says this is what needs done. End rant.

100% give up the chewing tobacco even if its moderate and the cialis, it can have all kinds of side effects you dont want like becoming dependent on it.

You mentioned you think it affecting your sinus. Are you sure it didnt start as a sinus drop (infection) that is causing you to cough and making your throat soar?

I know it was mentioned going on antibiotics and it might be a good idea to do something like a Z-pack to hit it hard.

I actually went back and forth for awhile on whether or not it was a sinus issue or reflux. I think what really made it clear it was reflux was, the two nights I have woken up coughing, I had food with red sauce right before bed. I can’t imagine that being just a coincidence. Plus, I’ve had my share of sinus infections and I’ve never had a sore throat this bad.

I’ve had sinus issues my whole life and have had a couple surgeries to correct them. I actually originally went in for an appointment with my doctor who’s done my sinus surgery, thinking my throat was sore due to post nasal drip. He took a look and said my sinuses looked fine. Then he mentioned that he hired a throat specialist and asked if I wanted to see him because he could scope my throat. So I ended up seeing him and that’s pretty much how I got here.

Tomatoes, peppers, etc. I can only tolerate low acid tomatoes and even sweet peppers give me heartburn.

The only thing that has given me bad experiences with acid reflux is Tren . Tren A seemed to be the worse of the two. It just tears my whole GI tract up. The acid indigestion had me popping antacid chewables like they were candy. I even recall being on vacation, standing on the porch of a rental in eastern Italy; I stood up and kind of burped and got a mouthful of my dinner, which had come up...

The killer is that I have a stock of Tren A/E in my stash. I would guess that I have roughly 60ml, which I agree is not an enormous quantity for some of the guys here on the forum. I will have to contact my local guy, who I bought it from, and try to change it out for something else. Everything which I want to swap is unopened, so I don't anticipate any problems with the trade.

Sure will miss the Tren though, because my first blast on Tren E, I didn't experience any problems...??? You more experienced, knowledgeable gents; do you think that the problem I experienced could be with the manufacturer? I guess that could be the case. I have read that I am not the only one to experience this adverse effect from this particular compound.

Chief, do you ever get nasty "sulfur" burps while running tren? If so, give Pepto Bismol tablets a try. They made a big difference for me.

I was wondering about that Samson; running Tren at a REALLY LOW dose... Can you share any experience/s trying this?

It makes sense, if you take less, then both the good and the bad sides are going to be reduced.

I am with you; I love/d my Tren... (Ugh... I guess I am an addict to AAS in general...)

I can usually handle it pretty well if I eat it far away from bedtime, but I’m not taking any chances with it until this ulcer heals.

I was just reading about something that sounds interesting.
A 2012 in vitro studyTrusted Source found that drinking naturally carbonated artesian-well alkaline water with a pH of 8.8 may help deactivate pepsin, the main enzyme that causes acid reflux.

I had asked my doctor about drinking alkaline water but he said it really wouldn’t do much for me as I’m already on acid reducing medication. And it could have a rebound effect and make me produce more acid. I did look into this after you mentioned the baking soda and water thing lovbyts, and it sounded promising but I also read the same thing my doctor mentioned about rebound issues and that it’s more useful for an acute case of reflux and not chronic.

I’m slightly annoyed at western medicine approach to medicine of treating SYMPTOMS! “Acid reducing meds”.

This thread is quite long and I skimmed thru it…and just doesn’t seem like you have much if any relief!

Have you and/or Dr identified the source (s) of acid reflux?

Are you adding to your hurt by being on cycle?

Do you have a high tolerance for pain? I do and it’s not always a benefit!

I was diagnosed with an autoimmune immune disease. I wasn’t able to function. Some days not able to leave my home. My dr was treating me with meds that were not working. My AI is in digestive system and I had bleeding ulcers, developed iron deficiencies, unable to properly adsorb but nutrients…body in duress!!!

My digestive system wasn’t going to get better if I didn’t take a more holistic approach and started with diet. But by this time my ulcers couldn’t be healed by and my Dr knew his treatment plan was failing!

I believe I needed to be a self advocate so he did the right thing by me (and I didn’t allow him to NOT do BETTER). He got me on an program with new med that blocked the protein causing the inflammation. After one injection, the symptoms that were preventing me from going to work where abated.

So perhaps you need to change your approach and / or doctor needs to change his!

I wish you the very best on a full recovery!!

I don’t think we’ve identified the cause, I’m hoping the endoscopy I’m having on Friday will give us some answers.

I can’t find any information on high testosterone and acid reflux, I’m not taking orals or anything crazy. I have stopped my blast and I’m back on a trt dose as of two weeks ago.

I would say I’m always in pain for one reason or another so I’m very use to it lol

I’m hoping between my gi doctor and this throat doctor im seeing I can get this figured out and under control. I have to say im not a fan at all of my throat doctors plan of having me drink nothing but water, no protein powder, no dairy, etc. I drink mostly water anyways and I eat clean 90% of the time, but I’m gonna lose my mind trying to stick to this. I feel like I already know what gives me an issue so this seems like overkill.

Bland diet seems to be the standing protocol. Endoscopy will be of interest.

I didn’t realize you figured out what’s causing your acid reflex! Please tell!

I always ate a shake as my last meal (oats, liquid egg whites, whey, and sometimes peanut butter) and that would give me some issues, so I stopped doing it. Recently, the two times I’ve eaten any food with red sauce close to bed I’ve woken up coughing and then had an extremely sore throat for weeks.

The shake thing I’ve known was an issue for years. Before I was on a PPI there were a couple times I woke up choking on stomach acid and could not breath. The red sauce thing is new, I ate a bowl of pasta right before bed in December, woke up coughing uncontrollably (but not choking, and no burning sensation) and I have had a sore throat ever since. It was starting to get a little better until about three weeks ago I had some lasagna and then went to bed shortly after, I woke up coughing that night and of course my throat was extremely sore so it’s like I’m starting all over again. But at least I know for sure anything with red sauce is a problem before bed.
