What exactly is a gifted person genetically?
Hey, when i hear of a person being genetically gifted, i think of their muscles to recuperate quicker and grow more. When i think of a ungifted person i think of a person that is anorexic or obese. So what makes someone genetically gifted? Also, does race matter when looking through genetically gifted people? For example, a great amount of black people tend to be much more muscular and cut, a good amount of white people are muscular and/or cut, and a good amount of asian people are small and/or fat.

Better than avg recovery ability. The right muscle structure, strong tendons, joints.

Genetically gifted people tend to be more muscular and cut without diet and/or exercise. I have a friend that doesnt diet worth a sh!t and he is 5'9" and 180 pounds cut at 17!

i've seen in more than one place that in comparison to white people, black people have higher natural test levels and asian have lower, also within the white portion, northern and eastern europeans have higher test than western/ southern europeans

Genetics determines the number and makeup of your muscle fibers. There are 3 types of fibers, slow oxidative, fast oxidative and fast glycolytic. The fast ones are the biggest and responsible for the largest portion of your physical strength.. with glycolytic fibers being twice as large (diatmeter) as fast oxidative. Fast oxidative fibers fatigue much more slowly, and slow oxidative fibers fatigue only after hours of training. The ratio of these fibers that you are born with dictates what kind of sports you would be best at. A person with a large number of slow oxidative fibers is an ideal marathon runner. A person with a mix of a large number of slow ox. and fast ox. makes a great middle distance runner. Etc, etc.
Training doesn't increase the number of fibers, or change the makeup of the fibers just makes them bigger, and therefore capable of more work. IGF-1 or GH on the other hand can increase the number of fibers, partly making up for bad genetics.

I have pretty good genetics. My back is very broad, so it looks as if I'm a wide beast. Genetics has also given me a very large neck.

alot of people like to believe they have good genetics. personally i believe a person with genetics is one who is capable of puttin on mass easily while maintaining a low body fat, and also one who can lift and repair his muscle fibers very quickly.. I have only met one person in my life with those kind of genetics. Basically the Arnolds and the Ronnie Colemans are the ones with good genetics.

I don't have good genetics...Heart disease and hodgkins are hereditary on my dads side. And I have nearly ALL of his genes. But I like having to work harder then the people that are naturally gifted...Makes me feel good about it all in the end.

This guy is 21 and lifting for 4 years. He's only 175 lbs but his tiny waist and small joints make him much bigger. I'd say his genetics are among the best.

You and ron have both been taking some cheap shots at me. It's time for me to take on the 2 most powerful mods on the board.

Ron a most powerful mod???? since when???
but grouping me in the same category with Ron is already as vile and a despicable act as one could ever perpetrate and I feel utterly slimed in such a revolting way that I am not sure if I can ever forgive such an egregious transgressionmay you become the soap in Full Intensities shower

Gifted genetics could also mean that you train harder and have the will power to stick to everything and do it right. A lot of it is in your head
