bloodwork / low test levels /HRT???

so i got my blood test results back yesterday, wanted to check out my levels before an upcoming cycle i was planning (prop/primo/var). My total test level was 147, which obviously is VERY low. I have not really had much of a sex drive lately, but i attributed it to job stress, etc... Obviously, i'm a bit concerned about this. My last cycle ended on July 1 (Test Cyp - 300mg/week, primo, var - 18 weeks total) and i did 5 weeks PCT (HCG , Nolva) and running HGH. Not a heavy cycle, and i felt like i recovered good after PCT.

So does anybody think i have still not recovered yet? Shouldnt my natural levels be higher 6 months after the end of the cycle? Before a cycle i did before, my test was only in the 200s... so maybe my test is low i general. Like i said, i haven't had much sex drive, but i do get morning wood and dont have problems getting it up when i get aroused...

i'm wondering if i should be on HRT. I'm 36, and it somewhat concerns me my test is so low... don't necessarily want to be on Test for life, but then again... need to at least be at normal levels.

just wanted some advice.. i was planning a new cycle of Prop/primo/var as i said, should i wait? I'm on 3.3 iu of GH right now..

anyway, thanks in advance, and i'd like to hear from anyone that either is on HRT or has had similar experiences.

I think if you are 147 ng/nl now and you were only 200 ng/nl before your last cycle and you
did a reasonable PCT and its been seven months since your last cycle, then I would say you are definitely staring HRT down the barrel of a gun dude and another cycle certainly is not going to make that better.

I think to be sure if I was you I would forget the next cycle and try another heavier PCT and see what results you get from that. If your natty test levels dont get any better then cycle then HRT for you I think

i hear you, Kale.. i'm going to go to a doctor and tell them where i am and see if HRT is the answer. Not too excited about having to do that the rest of my life, but tired of being run-down and no sex drive. Better to feel good and take my medicine than deal with this..

any suggestions on the doctor? A urologist, or an HRT clinic?

And you have to find the right one too.

The key is to call and ask different clinics if you could talk to the doctor's Nurse.

Ask the Nurse if the doctor regularly uses IM testosterone enanthate , or cypionate to treat men with low testosterone levels , and even ask if they have experience in using TRT as treatment in former AAS users.

If the nurse says that yes he does, and has, then you have found the correct doctor.

If she says, no, but he regularly scripts for viagra, then find a different doctor.

I was in a similar situation that you are in, and found out later on, because of a good urologist, that AAS is never what caused my problem, as my LH and FSH were sky high. The exact opposite of low test from AAS use. My problem was caused by direct trauma to my testes, several years ago.

Anyway, same solution, 160mg EW, IM test cyp. works for me.
