Do steroids age you??

I just finished a 3 month cycle of 500 mg test E with anavar at the end. And everyone says i look older than my age (24) where as before i looked younger. Im also bigger, but i think its in the face....

A lot of guy that run high dosages of testosterone tend to look aged in the face. I haven't personally seen any studies that prove it ages you but take a look at alot of the younger heavy competitors in the npc.

Not to go off topic on your post... but I was looking at similar cycle. And don't have enough posts to send you a pm. Anyhow what were your gains?

I think this is related more so with the bloat... 4 weeks in to a bulk cycle ppl tell me i look 5 years older than when im shredded..

Id put my money on that if you were to lean down now you will go back to your original "look"

I haven't seen any research on this topic, but conversely I've seen many high dose guys with baby faces. Any well designed study of this nature would have to, as you must, consider other age promoting variables, i.e. lack of sleep, genetic predisposition, high stress levels, smoking, tanning, etc.

Remember steroids are only hormones, which are simply chemical messengers. It is the addition of increased calories and protein, substantive muscular system stimulation, and the requisite recovery time that causes the anabolic bb'er effect. Else, unless you have degenerative or damaged tissues, you merely end up with increased endurance and recovery via greater rbc counts and slightly more efficient protien and oxygen usage, e.g. disqualified Tour De France winner Floyd Landis--you would never have suspected him of gear usage. And of course there's the occasional uninformed dupe who logs on complaining of not being a Testosterone responder!!!

i tan off and on and that usually ellicits alot of statements reguarding my age

when ive tanned. ive been told i look 32.

when im not tan. ive been told i look 18

im 24.

but never had any statements like that just cause i was on cycle

If you bulk up and get fat there's a good chance you'll look older. If you stay lean while using steroids you'll obviously look younger. Weight gain in the form of fat and water can cause one to look older whether they are on steroids or not! More reasons to eat cleaner foods and control carbs.. Genetics determine the things we cannot control.

if you are big and bulky than i would certainly think that you will look older than ur age.
however, some people not all of them do enjoy that baby face look no matter how big they look but that's rare.

hmmm...i would say so...

here is why...

By juicing...you become more satisfied with your apperance...which makes it easier for you to get through the day...and through the next day...and through the next day...EVERYDAY MAKING YOU OLDER....so YES AAS AGE YOU

but that would mean doing nothing ALSO makes you age...

o wait...ur talking about apearing older...lol...
