what do you guys that get it use to stop this. need help on this its getting me really down .

2 showers a day, sun or tanning can help too. Also use some facial scrubs to help clear out the oil on your face.

grab some of this stuff. acne annihilator by platinum labz.com,, my whole camp has used it for quite awhile and it works really well,, and is cheap to purchase.

Benzoyl and Ret are useless against this particular type of hormonally-induced acne, the drugs may help but try least route of least resistance first:

Get a Ketoconazole-based shampoo, like Nizoral 1% OTC, or 2% prescribed, and wash affected areas (face, shoulders, back) EOD. But here's the kicker, be sure to moisture after EACH treatment. The skin and scalp have different PH levels which are accounted for in soaps and shampoos respectively...so NOT EVERYDAY, AND MOISTURIZE! Nizoral remedies this in a significant portion of the population, hope you fall into that category.

What do you mean, "won't do the job?"

You're seriously under-estimating the power of accutane.

If you run accutane for 2 - 3 months, at a respectable dosage, I can almost guarantee that you will have almost no acne present on your body, and you may NEVER get acne again (because it permanently shuts down oil glands)... but Accutane isn't all positives.. there are side-affects (IE liver damage, etc).

It's the strongest acne medication out there.. nothing else compares.
