    If It Fits Your Macros basically supports moderation and says maybe 10-20% of your calories (assuming everything else has been met) can be what many would call "cheat" foods. That doesn't mean you have a shit diet.

    No, you can eat candy whenever you want. 1g of protein is 4 calories. 1g of fat is 9 calories. I was making an example that if you were to perfectly match your minimums of fat/protein, how much left over calories you could use on whatever you want. You have 462 calories to play with is what I was getting at.

    I didn't say you could eat garbage all the time, because if you did only eat Pizza/ice-cream, it would be pretty much impossible to reach your minimum protein/fat goals without going over your Calorie limit for most people.

    Use Brohim for example, who needs 250g protein. If he ate only Dominos cheese Pizza which is 12g protein 290 calories he would need to eat 21 Pizza slices to get over 250g protein.

    21 pizza slices = 6090 calories

    That would not work for him.
