T3 Cytomel for Women

My wife is curious about this stuff. I have been looking around some but haven't found anything specifically for or against women using it?

Does anyone know if there are any adverse sides that a woman should be concerned about other than the being observant of body temperature?

What is a good starting dosage for her?

Any help would be appreciated.

Start out at 50mcg per day.

Both sexes can use this, and the same protocol applies to both. Start at 25 mcg and ramp up every three days (the pharmachological report says 5-7) by the same amount to plateau dosage. Most users go to 100 mcg, then ramp down in similar fashion.

i'd suggest that she have her thyroid checked before supplementing with t3... that way she has a baseline and know that she is recovered once she comes off..
