Why are you taking steroids?
So why?
I'm intrigued to know why most of you are taking steroids ? Do you compete? Want to look better? Or for a better quality of life? etc..Last edited by Threepwood; 12-09-2017 at 06:01 AM.

After years of going to the gym and understanding bodybuilding and nutrition, I began to feel that I want to push my full potential the human body can do. And unfortunately, that limit becomes hard/impossible to reach while staying natural.
That being said, Steroids are the number one alternative for me, and it intrigued me.
tldr; I wanna get laid.

I’m not, yet. However, when I do start, it will be with the rationale of “fuck the diminishing returns of a natural”. I’m not keen on the idea of putting in an extra 400% work for an extra 2% increase in outcome.

Oh, believe me, that’s one area that I actually am perfectly fine in. 90+% whole foods, and I food scale literally everything to the tenth of a gram. 2700 on non-lifting days, 3050 on lifting has me gaining at roughly 0.3 lbs./week, which is perfectly fine, considering the lack of gear support. Anything faster, and I just end up getting fat as shit.

I just want to be an alpha. Walking into a room full of average people and getting looks and comments is a good feeling. And i think its a fight detterent at bars and parties. Regular dudes will hesistate to confront a very muscular guy. Even though I'll be the first to admit being bigger doesnt make you invincible.

I don't know what people have turned "Alpha" into but in nature its the strongest, toughest, meanest in the group. Its not about size or height. Being an alpha is about beating the fuck out of anything that gets in your way and being top dog in every situation.
Alphas are antisocial, they literally jump at the chance to fight, they work for themselves, and are always in charge.
People have turned being a "man's man" into being an Alpha somehow. I assure you alpha's are the opposite of a man's man.
Also, the bigger someone is the more likely they will get in a bar fight where I live. I think you are mistaking bar's for club's fights.
I think you would rather be a man's man than an alpha.
Alpha's are real dicks and its a mother to stay out of prison as an alpha.

My bad i got the semantics wrong. I want to be a mans man in that case. I need to be the biggest and best or i lose sleep. Me and you actually had this convo before about being bigger and getting into fights. I guess everywhere is different. My confrontations have decreased substantially since i put on alot of size in the last 2 years. Either way, juice has totally improved my quality of life.

I completely agree. I have a brother that is an alpha in the purest sense. I have literally watch him beat up guy much bigger than he and leave with their girlfriend/date.
My brother is a genuine prick. I actually told him next time I see him I am gonna give him the first real fight he has ever had.lol! I would rather be myself than associate to a group. Being a mans man aint bad though. In civilized society they get the most pussy and money.

Well so long as you are gaining that is a good thing that way you will have a good solid base too build on.And believe me when I say this you will be miles ahead of the lazy ones who tried the easy way and learned it didn't work.Blood and guts bro if getting big was easy everyone would be big.Keep plugging away bro!

because 95% of natural bodybuilders have poor genetics and look like they don't even lift . on stage they look like skinny aids patients . steroids are currently the best way to enhance your genetics , so they Imo should be taken if your taking up the pursuit of bodybuilding, just like good training and good diet and nutrition should be taken

its just too bad some people do it in the order you just said, aas first and foremost then maybe proper training and diet/nutrition, usually later on...if only they would learn that they would get far better results if they did it the other way around and built a base of not only muscle to start but also knowledge of diet/nutrition but whos got time for that right?...I think the newbies should get there priorities strait, there is no need for aas if this isn't already your lifestyle and or career choice imho...this is not a knock on you gearheaded your knowledge is outstanding it would just be nice to see people do it right once in a while...

"Man whats going on?just got my arse kicked
Hi, i started taking sustanon250 about 6 week ago. Ive never used it before. The other night i caught some guys breaking into my car, I thought now was my chance so i flexed up and went outside expecting the sustanon to take over. I ended up getting my arse kicked. What is going on? I thought steroids make you able to fight??"
Wall of shame post.

To have a advantage on the rest - it's not a unfair advantage, it will cost many of us a hefty price

You can have all the muscle in the world mate, it doesnt protect your chin. But I know you what you mean, and since when do lifting weights teach you how to fight? it looks intimidating to most guys but not to the ones that can actually fight. Take up boxing as well if you have time.

I lost a lot of mass post surgery, and was always interested in getting on cycle. Seemed like the perfect time regain all the lost mass once I was cleared to train.

good post . it is true that so many people do end up doing it ass backwards but when guys see that there is an advantage to AAS use then it becomes an appealing choice to just jump on way before diet and training are dialed in,, because diet and training really is the hard part .
then when guys diet and training somewhat suck, but the 3 grams of gear they are taking still helps them uphold a decent physique they become content and complacent with their mediocracy. they never really take advantage of the drugs their taking in the first place . they hit the gym 3 x per week, eat like shit, and go out and binge drink on the weekends but still look fairly decent because of the gear , and then they get addicted to that and end up staying on that gear year round and abusing it rather then making use of it .
IF diet and training were dialed in to begin with they would have a way way way better physique and not have to abuse AAS.
personally as a gym owner and trainer/coach , I find the diet and training aspect fascinating and love to share what I can with friends and clients , but a lot of guys really have no real interest for it and they rely on half ass training and AAS use. you have to have a passion for diet and training, but lots of people don't
