Anyone here busted for roids in Australia? I just was.

I gave up on trying to get put on TRT and so ordered a few vials of Test E, as well as one vial of Tren A and a pack of Dbol . This afternoon I picked them up from the post office, opened the mail bag to see what was inside, then it seems I left the bag on the passenger seat as I drove off. Just before home I got pulled over for driving a few Ks over the limit and was too preoccupied with making sure my phone was put away and getting out my licence to notice the open bag on the other seat. The cop saw the bag asked what it was and I suppose my reaction likely told him it was more than just my medication.

He looked through the contents and took it back to his car where I would say he ran my details. When he came back he asked a few questions about the gear. I told him I was 53 and just after a testosterone boost, I'm not some young roid head etc. He asked a few more questions but I said I think I better wait until I get legal representation before I answer any more. After this he told me the process, I will receive a summons in the mail etc and he left.

Any Aussies here been through this? What ended up happening? I will get legal advice on Monday but was just wondering what ends up happening with this type of situation from your experience? I have never had any other dealings with police except for speeding tickets. I was busted while away in Sydney but I live in Adelaide, I take it I will have to return to NSW for court is this correct?

Not from Australia so i dont know much about the laws. I would tell your lawyer that you did not give him permission to look through your mail, and he just did. Im sure it was in the bag, and the vials weren't sitting on the seat. In the states a cop must ask to search the contents of a package. Unless the vials were actually sitting on the seat in plain view.

I knew a guy here who did the same thing, except he was driving with a suspended license. Nothing came of it, I think he had to pay a fine. This is in the US.

While I sympathize with your situation, I would urge you to take more caution next time to ensure you don’t get busted again. You got your gear in the mail, but imagine it was your friend who got it for you and they trace it back somehow? You’d be putting everyone else in the chain at risk. You have to be more responsible and think.

As we discussed bro, I just hope it works out how it did when I got busted back in the day. The copper got himself 3 months worth of Test, Deca and weed and I never heard from him again. It just seems weird that he never gave you a paper ticket, a calling card or anything like that.
I don't know much about the legal side, but having the Tren and Dbol in with the test might not help your excuse that it was just for old man testosterone replacement .

The vials were definitely still in the bag, but one might have been visible. He definitely didn't ask permission to look in the bag, he just asked me to get out of the car then he reached in and grabbed the bag. I'm fairly certain he said the conversation was being recorded, but I think in this state it always is. I am not sure of the legality of all of this, but I will check when I get home on Monday when I get legal advice.

Yes you are right I should have been more responsible, but the package never had any description of the sender and I would never have let on where I ordered them from. I will just say I got them from a bloke I met in a pub or something similar.

The fine in my country is like 3-400 USD, don't think yours would be any higher.

In UK you could have said ‘Those are my steroids , officer’ and he’d be like ‘Alright. Have a nice day, sir’. One of the few things UK is good at is the law imo.

    The weather is shit though...

It's why the trunk of your car has a lock on it. Gear should never be in the passenger compartment of a vehicle.

Normally it would be safely stashed away but this is the first time I have been pulled over on this short little ride home. Of course if it was weed or something I would have instinctively stashed it but in my head I didn't really think of a bit of juice for personal use to be worth worrying about, otherwise I would have stashed it when I was pulled over. I have learned my lesson now, but am just wondering how drawn out the legal process will be in the nanny state we live in here.

Same thing happened to me in the states and it was horrible. Situation was similar also. Best of luck

I don't know which state this is...

Back in the day, when I was still stateside, the cops would never treat you like that; maybe with the gas / AAS you could get lucky and be stopped by a cool (user) cop, but with weapons and weed... I doubt it.

TS: I was caught up in a USN investigation once, that was the closest I have been to being busted, and it was close enough... But from what I know, and what I have heard, as others have stated; you are most likely to get a slap on the wrist, as the quantity doesn't scream DEALER to the judge.

It does sound a bit odd that (if I read correctly) the officer didn't give you any paper copy of the citation... Perhaps, he has just scored himself a cycle...

In regards to criticism of your security: Well, ex post facto it is always easy to judge. When we are involved in violating the law, we rarely think about getting caught... I would venture to guess that the majority of us have picked up some vials from our guy at the gym, tossed'em in the gym bag, and drove home... Just your unlucky day, and I am sure you won't make that mistake again (hell, now I am rethinking...).

Good luck, and keep us posted.

Colorado. Completely legal to have both in the car.

Would hope that since you’re not a run of the mill meat head and that you were looking to do some home therapy around hormone replacement that you might stand a better chance than your average 25 year old gym monkey. I’d stick with a medicinal story (or whatever your lawyer says)

    Good luck OP.

Yeah, don’t think legalised guns is a good thing with all the mass shootings happening lately.

They are historically low per capita and especially per firearm.

But you watched the news and saw something.

I need a rock because they have a rock.
I need a sling shot because they have a sling shot.
I need a bow and arrow because they have a bow and arrow.
I need a musket because they have a musket.
I need a rifle because they have a rifle.
I need a laser gun because they have a laser gun.
I need a tank because they have a tank.
I need a nuclear bomb because they have a nuclear bomb.

When everyone has a gun, there's no advantage to owning a gun. The closest I ever came to shooting anyone with my gun was in my bedroom, by myself... I don't have that gun anymore (but to each their own!).

Thats the thing though, you say to each his own but then would strip others of their freedoms because you want security from criminals you wont get.

If I am going to kill someone, they are dead.
    Gun or not.

Shootings are half what they were in 1990 but we have social media throwing it in our face every second, so some believe it is worse or that there is more violence today than ever.

We have about 3 times the number of guns as in 1990 and the number of shootings is much lower even with an increasing population.

I would think you would be more concerned with something deadly like slip and falls in bathrooms amoung the elderly.

The world is a soft enough place.
    We dont need more laws.
Though they will come and we can be taken care of a little more.

Freedom is not without a price.
That doesnt just mean someone goes out and does in a war.

It means if you have the freedom, there will be colateral damage.

    Cars
    Alcohol
    Cigarettes
    Sugary drinks...

You will pay the price. So dont be to eager to hand your rights off.

You can always go to europe.

Oh really? So you are a Native American, then?

Ignorant ass statement. You ARE European unless you’re black, Inuit, native Americans, or from some tribe in South America. Go travel some and see the world it might open your mind.

Well yeah, I mean some of my ancestors were from Europe back when it was the place to be, before all the cool ones jumped on a boat and came over here. Sort of like how it was cool to have a mullet in 1991, but not now.

    I am Arian.
A euro is a cuck that sells his rights off for security and bitches about his government doing exactly what he wants by expanding socialism.

Nearly wiped off the earth a dozen times by socialism yet they kept diving back in. Finally a bunch said, "Yer all fked in the head."
So they left and came over here.
They killed all the injuns and started the most advanced and wealthiest country in the world by using competitive greed and mankinds basic nature to create something good.

Then they had kids and they were pussies and started rotating back to the shitty ways claiming they were better, though they failed for thousands of years in Europe, and created countries with no spine or sense of honor; which paled in comparison to the power of the US.

Anyone who would get rid of their right to protect themselves is pretty much a euro.

    Its a derogatory term.
    I invented it.

Euro: Yer·oh~ fr Latin vagboi meaning pussy man socialist.
    Exame:
"That black guy just said he wants to ban guns! He's a, "Euro!"

The cop never said anything about the (legal) gun on the back seat but I very rarely get asked about guns when they see them during a traffic stop. I have only twice had weed found in my car but each time they hardly said anything about it and they never took it off me.

You seem to have forgotten to mention that one time you had weed found in your car, it was in a clear container on your dash, clearly visible, haha you goose, recurring theme here bro.
My experience with police seeing guns in my car in Australia is different to yours. They usually ask me what calibre it is and how is the hunting, did I get much. I never had any bad comments from cops in Australia about guns but then we don't have a gun problem here.

When all the super powers had a nuclear weapon, the best possible outcome was realized. Humanity was saved (for the time being). Since everyone was armed, everyone was afraid to use it. It was beautiful.

When the bad guys think that everyone is armed, they no longer have a superior position over potential victims.

The proliferation of firearms in the hands of responsible citizens is the best defense against evildoers.

I don’t know where you were in 1991, but it was never cool to have a mullet around here.

We don’t have a gun problem here either. We have a criminal problem.

So, you would be fine with every country having nuclear weapons, because by your logic, no one will use them.

If every country's government knew that their use in anger as an initial aggressor would lead to their entire country's population becoming extinct, and their land uninhabitable for a thousand years, they wouldnt use it. It would be a deterrent. Look at all the little shit countries that have it now or had it. They never used them. Pakistan, India, Israel, South Africa, Belarus, Kazakhstan.

As the great writer Robert A. Heinlein once said -

“An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life.”

So you know, looking for a very gentlemanly light hearted discussion. Nothing aggressive, not my intent. Like 2 friends while drinking a bottle of whiskey (and not on tren ).

With that said, do you want nukes for every country? You didn’t say.
