    Thinkin of tryin to get into MMA

    Well i have been training for 3 years now in Brazillian Ju-jitsu, Judo, Maui thai, Karate and boxing. And i am 205 right now 5"7 at age 17 how big do you all sagest that i get should i up my weight or lower it because i got a few years too go yeat. Probly 4 more years.

    Any Suggestions?

    at 5'7 ... I def wouldn't compete at 205. that's just my opinion though.

    and you're 17 ... you still gotta a lot of time ahead of you ... keep training hard.

    ya i know i shouldn't compeat at 205 but i got 4 years do you think i should get too like 220 get big and start ripin hard at age 19? what do you think?

    Even though you are suspended due to age requirements. You can read this.

    You can bulk up if you want but you should not compete any higher than 185lbs. Optimal choice would be 170lbs IMO.

    At 205lbs, you got guys cutting down from the 220's and heights ranging from 5'10-6'6

    185lbers arew cutting from low 200's and heights ranging from 5'7-6'0

    170lbers cutting from 190's and heights ranging from 5'6-6'0

    If you wanna see a striking resemblence between fighters, watch Wanderlei (205lbs) vs Minowa (185lbs) or Rampage (205lbs) vs Minowa. The size difference is frightening.

    yup u can read this too..

    this is a workout routine for one of the top guys out there..

    MONDAY
    Morning: Running, about 4-5 km's, stretching
    Evening: a lengthy warming-up, sparring/heavy beg work, working with the pads, grappling.

    TUESDAY
    Morning: Weight Lifting + BJJ technique at low intensity after
    Evening: a lengthy warming-up, sparring/heavy beg work, working with the pads, grappling

    WEDNESDAY
    Running at medium intensity, or just playing basketball

    THURSDAY
    Morning: Running, about 4-5 km's, stretching
    Evening: a lengthy warming-up, sparring/heavy beg work, working with the pads, grappling

    FRIDAY
    Morning: Weight Lifting + BJJ technique at low intensity after
    Evening: a lengthy warming-up, sparring/heavy beg work, working with the pads, grappling

    SATURDAY
    Running or weight lifting at medium intensity

    SUNDAY
    Resting

    We can make it a game, if anyone wants to guess who
