    Healthy Choice Meals

Me and my roommates were thinking of ways to save money while eating healthy...one of my roommates came up with the idea of strictly eating HEALTHY CHOICE meals that consist of mainly chicken alfredo...were all looking to get cut and build muscle and we generally consume about 2 protein shakes a day ....is this an effective way of dieting to build muscle?

No frozen foods aren't the best thing to go for. Better than shakes when you're in desperate need stranded without food but try an eat strictly fresh meats because of the sodium content/quality of meat.

Btw, I've heard that Hungryman dinners, will make you extremely swole.

frozen dinners are ridiculously processed and have tons of preservatives in them. much of what is in those foods ends up in your liver and kidneys saying as it's toxic. "healthy choice" is far from healthy at all. just look at their list of chemical additives and you'll see how bad it is.

if you want to eat healthy and aren't sure what to get, go to a local health food store and look around. though health food stores are oftentimes overpriced, you can at least write down some foods that are actually good for you, then look for them in your local grocery store. i actually do half my shopping at my local health food store and half at my local walmart, cause some stuff i can get much cheaper at walmart, but some stuff walmart just doesn't carry cause it's too healthy for them.

the problem with those dinners is that they are "healthy" because the portions are small..... id have to eat about 4-5 of them to make a dent in my appetite....... then it becomes really unhealthy lol.

The Healthy Choice is not to eat em...

but look guys if your looking to save money buying whole foods are cheap in bulk.. As long as you dont throw away a lot due to leaving it out and it going bad on you... But if your looking to get anywhere physically you need to eat right.. diet is 80% of your progress up or down... think about it..
