no, it won't kill you. The point of eating every 2-3 hours is to keep your metabolism up and hopefully not wanting to "snack."

I stick with every 2hrs so if something comes up then the worst that'll happen is it'll push my meal back to 2.5-3hrs.. After 3hrs, get the hell out of my way I'm gonna eat something or kill someone.

Don't worry about always eating every 2 hours. Really. There is nothing wrong with skipping a meal from time to time. In fact, it's a good thing to occasionally miss a meal. Our bodies are super smart and highly adaptive.
Moreover, when you eat every two hrs on the clock....you never experience hunger, a powerful trigger of gene expression that turns on DNA repair and heat shock proteins. So, your maintenance program is seldom activated.
Instead, vary your metabolic state from time to time. It will do your body more good than harm. I'm telling ya.

I shoot for the 2hr mark, being that we live in a busy society and life seems to get in the way of our Hobbies lol.. my meals usually vary from every 2 hrs to 3-4hrs at times.. Just depends on what's happening around me, but yes I agree with varying times and skipping meals on occasion during the week, it really does speed the metabolism and keeps the body from adapting to your program.

I'm eating 9 meals per day now (bulking)

IMO people get too carried away w/ this shit. There have been days where it's every 4 for me, sometimes it's 5hrs, and sometimes it might be every 2hrs. You dont HAVE TO get 6-7 meals in a day either, there are plenty of guys out there who only eat 4 or 5 times/day and look phenomenal. I think it's good to do once in awhile. Also, think of this, if your eating every 2 hrs during your bulking season then your body may not have a chance to burn anything because you havent let the food already in you go to work. May be able to bulk leaner by not over eating so much and switching it up.
