    cardio meal

    If I´m doing cardio(running) in the pm, should I eat a protein & fat meal or protein & carb meal before my cardio? How long should I wait do to cardio after my meal. I know I should wait at least 1.5 H. When I have time I do cardio before breakfast.
    Why do some guys say that you should wait 45 minutes after their cardio before they eat or that you should eat a pro/fat meal so the fatburning doesn´t stop? I thought that carbs burns more calories/fat than fat.

    2.5-3 hours after a meal. Best to do it in the a.m. on an empty tank. As far as what to have after cardio, it doesn't matter. Pro/fat or pro/carb will work. All dependant apon the layout of your diet and required macros. I prefer to have my meal within 15 mins after cardio. Any more than that, and you're just asking for trouble IMO.
