Drinking lots of water while losing BF
Not sure of the right place to post this..Mods feel free to move.
How does drinking lots of water help while try to lose BF?
Say 1-2 gal a day. I try to get in a gallon but I have to piss every 10 min. Is it necessary and how does it help? What the theory behind this?
thx

you need to drink at least 1 to 1 1/2 gallons a day. i don't exactly know how it works but you need to drink a lot of water when you trying to lose weight.

the more water you drink.. the less water you actually retain because your hydrated..
being hydrated is not only very healthy for you but it will curve your appatite (espesically sugar foods for me).. make you feel like you have a lot more energy=better workouts..

Check this website out as it has a good bit of information about why we need H2O and how it helps with fat burning.

in my exercise science class i learned that drinking lots of water washes out a thin layer of fat between your muscle and skin. ill try to look for my notes where its a little more specific..

hydration is vital and helps regulate everything including metabolism which is obviously important when losing BF.

When we dont drink enough water the body retains fluid making you look tired and puffy which in turn will obscure your muscles. When we drink lot of water our bodys dont bother holding onto any extra so in turn making you look and feel better.
Hydration is very important every cell in the body needs it and when on high protien diet our kidneys are working extra so keep your body fully hydrated

I heard this from a someone who does a lot of triathalons; and drinking just pure H20 has a tendency to wash out all electrolytes; which are important for normal body function and cellular metabolism. So what these athletes do is drink about 1 or 2 servings of dilute lite cordial (crystal lite drink) with their daily hydration regime. By doing this it helps to retain electrolytes; they also stay away from sports drinks like gatorade or powerade; as the cordial has the same effect.
