    I just purchased a tub of choc mint cytogainer and a tub of muscle milk light.......cant wait to try....I'll keep you posted. But everyone is right, this is only 1/2 the equation.

    No I never supplement with saturates, only mono and poly unsaturates. I find EPA and DHA to be probably the best EFA's you can supplement with. If people dont like supplementing fats than fish is a great way to get EPA and DHA into your diet. These help a lot imo with joint lubrication and SKIN as well. Skin always looks better when fish fats are in order.

    And again just to go over the saturated and unsaturated thing. There really isnt any reason to avoid saturates, sure moderation is key...but thats true with EVERYTHING. I mean when you look at lipids, saturates simply means that each carbon atom is bonded to two hydrogen atoms, so you could say it is "saturated" with hydrogens, while conversely unsaturates have carbon atoms that are nto saturated with hydrogens. Other than that the structures are similar and there is nothing harmful about moderate saturated fat intake. But you probably dont need to supplement with them. If you do supplement them olive oil and coconut oil are good choices.

    Good stuff! JUST HOPING cyto will KEEP ME LEAN......dont want to take in some garbage product, but you know me...I have researched them all........ingredient profile is awesome.....plus it's very low sugar.....some of these gainers (after 3 weeks of research, lol - I'm nuts) have over 100g of FRIGGN SUGAR!!!!!!!!!!!

    anyways, Bino- i called the saturated fats in Muscle Milk nasty because i don't take in saturated fats in my shakes. I find ways to sub them into my diet....So sorry if i "offended" you by calling muscle milk's sat. fats "nasty"..... There are many things in life that offend me, that just wouldn't be one of them. But if it offends you (which it clearly does) that i think the sat. fats in MM are "nasty", then my DEEPEST SINCEREST APPOLOGIES.... lol

    Oh no, no offense taken at all. If I took offense to someone talkin about macronutrients I would literally need therapy. I just try to make sure I keep the facts straight across the board. Many many thousands of people frequent this board, many arent even members but just read for info. So I make sure I keep it correct. I agree that you shouldnt take in a lot of fat post workout, but it wasnt explicitly stated that you were speaking solely about PWO shakes.

    I happen to be one of the people you are talking about. I have lurked this site for 3 years now and know exactly what you mean. I only recently joined to ask a few questions of my own. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.... i meant i didn't like MM due to the sat. fats because that's honestly what i use my shakes for, PWO, or at least for the most part. Anyways, good luck Colombus... hope you achieve your goal and find what works best for you. I personally prefer Cyto though

    Yes sir....I'm going to use the cyto pw..........I got the mm light at 6g of fat for midnight if I wake.....I also have a good casein with the same macros as muscle milk, but only 9g of fat.....made by max muscle and uses flax instead of mcts......damn good but too damn expensive!

    Went to buy my cyto and spoke with the dude working at the nut. store. Tall kid, thin, etc. Played dumb and asked him his opinion "Cyto is by far my favorite!" How were your gains? Good, although you will alway gain chub using a mass shake, no matter what you do (as he grabs a roll from his waste).....well, what flavor? Always vanialla, I tried choc mint (which i bought over the net, not hear yet) and he said it was waaayyy too strong, had to mix it with vanilla......now that sounds good! But, i made no purchase......maybe this weekend if mine doesnt come in today.....thoughts?
    I had to laugh!
