Glutamine. When and how much?
here is a small insert from the UNofficial "How to cut" thread....
Glutamine: Helps prevent catabolism when cutting. Best used in dosages of 10grams daily, 5 grams before cardio, 5 grams at another interval, but not after workout as it fights for absorption with the glutamine peptides in whey.
but here is my question.....
i can understand that i can take 5g before i workout if im not mistaken, but then it says take 5g before cardio?
umm... i thought it was best if you do your morning cardio on an empty stomach? if i drink 8oz of water with 5g of glutamine, wont that kinda defeat the purpose of doing cardio on an empty stomach?
how about this...... lets forget what i wrote above, my question is...
how much and when should i take glutamine? if not AFTER work out, then when? before workouts? during my meals?
do i even have to workout to take glutamine? can i just be random and take it whenevr as long as its 10g daily?
thanks to everyone who will help me clear this issue up!!

Glutamine and water don't have calories so you still have a "empty" stomach.
