pretty much avoid fruits if your cutting carbs, you can get your vitamins and minerals from green vegetables instead and have lower carb content and more fiber. If your bulking then fruits are ok. The only real lack of nutrients that fruits have is protein content they are generally devoid of reasonable protein amounts. Basically if you fruits fit into your diet then there is nothing wrong with them.

ok.. so just to understand... since the sugar in fruit is slow digesting it doesn't matter which fruits i eat... ones with higher fructose won't do anything different than ones with low amounts?

Fruit sugars are usually fructose or pectin (in apples) fructose is absorbed very rapidly. veggies are a better source of minerals, vitamins and fiber if your goal is to cut up.

How about fruits glycemic index? I would think that different fruits have a different glycemic index.
