ground turkey-fat question
I make ground turkey chili, and when i brown the meat I drain the fat a few times until I see nothing left at the bottom of the pot. I use 93% and was wondering how this affects the fat content. A good amount of liquid/fat comes out, and was just wondering how to calculate it to fit into my macros. Thanks.

There is good turkey and bad ground turkey. I found some 98% fat free turkey breast. Get the good stuff and don't worry about it.

There is no way to calculate it exact. Just use the fat content that is on the nutritional label even after draining unless you're a scientist that has time to test the fat content of drained ground turkey.

Are there any scientists around that could give me an estimate?
