    brown vs. white rice

    i keep hearing that brown rice is a better carb than white rice. is brown rice better overall? for both cutting and bulking?

    From my knowledge brown rice is only good carb when cutting.

    I think I read oatmeal was better for bulking and a better carb.

    Once you go brown you'll never go back. Seriously though, Brown rice and yams all the way for carbs.

    Brown rice by far.
    I personally use brown rice even when im preparing for a contest a few weeks out.
    There is a reason brown rice over White rice.

    for taste, white rice by far. You dont have to try twice to swallow it like brown rice but im sure brown is the better choice if youre cutting. Then again i know a guy from the gym says he eats white rice about twice a day and hes about 5% bodyfat so it basically comes down to your own body .Although id have to agree with big sexy and say there are better sources of carb than rice.
