    baked beans

    if i'm having baked beans with my morning eggs and i rince 80% off the tomato sauce of them is this a gd way to get rid of most of the salt and sugar. or am i kidding myself ?

    yes i suppose, although some salt and sugar im shure makes its way into the beans through the baking prosses.i doubt thers any tru way of measuring it.

    Rinsing will get rid of most but there really isn't a way to know how much is still there. Buy and bake your own beans with a no-carb bbq sauce or some other mix to get the real numbers.

    Why not just make your own beans...not difficult at all...a crocklpot is almost impossible to mess up beans with.

    i think i'm gonna keep doing it for a couple weeks and watch the mirror very closely.
