Bmr?
Hey guys I am 25 years old,5'9" 170 lbs. at about 20 per. bodyfat. I would like to start loosing fat for the summer. According to the BMR Calculation my maintenance level is 1831 calories. Do I have to eat less than that? Seems kind of low for a man.

that seems to low and you figure out your bmr and dont forget to factor in activity level and then subtract 500 calories, that will set you at about 1 pound per week and the cardio and training you do(should be doing) will lose another pound or two 2-3 pounds a week and should lose just fat taking in 1 gram protein per lb of body weight anymore than that and your probably losing muscle

BMR is coma calories. You need the activity multiplier. Google Harris Benedict Equation.
