Carb Question
I've been on a new diet for around a week and right now my protein count is around 300g a day....I tried keeping the carbs around 100g but the past two days I just felt like a bum at the gym. My lifts were definitely weak sauce compared to normal. Is this low energy level because I'm not eating enough carbs or is it in my head?

^I can't say if it is definitively because the low carbs without seeing your entire diet.

Where is your fat intake and what is your goal? There are instances where 100g of carbs a day would be beneficial.

Carb-response
Hey guys...thanks for the response. Right now I am 210 and 5'9 and I'm trying to get down to 12% body fat so I can prep myself for some gear (starting off with test-e) Right now I'd say I'm around 17-18% and my thought process was if I could keep the carbs low I would continue to lose bodyfat. But being in the gym 6-7 times a week and only eating >100g of carbs a day is not going to work. I felt like shit.
I don't want to eat too many because I'm trying to burn that fat but also dont want to be the ***** in the gym.

It would be beneficial if we could see your entire diet.
Do you have any controlled re-feed days?
Also, as Fireguy mentioned, what is your fat intake like on those low carb days?

I got nothing I can add to this. EXACTLY what I would be asking...EFA intake?
Hell there are days when I'm not even dieting and my carbs are 150g a day, when I am dieting many many days under 150g and even under 100g. My energy is always good. Carbs are not the only thing we get energy from...
For many people it's in their head..because they "know" they are on lower carbs. Especially after 2 days only...something else is wrong. You cant seriously have lost workout intensity after a mere 2 days of 100g carbs. Just doesnt make sense.
