    extreme binge eating :(

I am an absolute food lover but I eat a very strict, healthy diet all year round. I eat 5 low calorie, high protien meals per day and generally no carbs after 5pm.

on my cheat day (sundays) I say to myself that i will just have a small cheat meal to satisfy cravings. But by sunday evening I always end up eating everything in my path and as many calories as I can. Im talking thousands of calories. I think it is because I realize that I will not have this opportunity for another week. I somehow justify my way into eating more and more. it's actually crazy. It often causes me to go into depression on sunday night from the feeling of guilt.

I just want to know what are the negative effects on this kind of calorie splurge and is it very hazordous to my body? I don't ususally pick up too much fat and whatever I do pick up I usually burn off over the next 2 days.

cheat on sunday is good man, your guilt proves your commitment.

I would do this when boxing, i was on strict diet all the time and would end up being depressed. For BBuilding its not too bad as you dont have to weigh in for fights.

Enjoy your sundays man but be loyal to the diet in the week.

I think that you shouldn't feel guilty. Only one thing: before eating too much think about the hard training and diet you're waisting and you'll feel worse after a too big and bad meal. I think going to the restaurant is the best way to do a cheat day: moderation and good food will come spontaneus.

I think if you are eating the correct amount of food during the week, the cravings aren't as bad.

Why under eat everyday just to binge later?

I have a very slow metabolism. used to be rather overweight, and now I prefer to keep my bodyfat in single digets all year round, so for me to do that I have to eat a very low calorie diet

    I am 22 years old
I don't weigh myself. I prefer visual progress
my bodyfat is sitting anywhere between 7-9% depending on the day.
My goal is to have a male model look.. with decent muscle size and shape (not too big), with great definition, and my bodyfat as low as possible.

My diet is pretty much the same everyday unless I have to eat out ect.

    6:30am
cup of oats with a fruit and protien shake.
    10:00am
    Chicken breast and brown/wild rice
    1:30pm
    Chicken breast and brown/wild rice
    6:30pm
After gym I eat chicken breast with veg and protien shake

thats what i normally eat 6 days a week. if i dont train that day I will slip in an extra meal at around 3:30pm and eat dinner later at around 7pm

Sundays I eat everything, from chocolates/desserts to pasta to burgers whatever I can get my hands on really haha

Whats the macros of that food consumption, how much chicken breast/rice. Must be exact with your intake mate this is what makes the difference.

Also i am not sure about anyone else but i weigh myself always 1 time per day. Habit

Also dude your diet looks boring and we need STATS as jammy has said, the more educated you get about food the better decisions you can make.

Variation of 2%bf in a day? How did you take your bf? Visual progress is important, but i wouuld check progress also with numbers sometimes. You can check your weight once a week on empty stomach.

well on a monday my bodyfat is usually sitting at around 9% and the rest of the week its around 7-8%

I eat approx one large chicken breast per meal and a 3/4 cup of brown/wild rice. It is boring I know, but I don't have time to prepare meals and it works. Twice a week I make a large dish of spiced chicken breast and a big pot of brown/wild rice. I take that to work in airtight containers and just warm them up

How do you take your bf? I ask u, because there are very inaccurate approaches.
Some stats would be useful. Eating two kinds of food is the worst thing for your body, not only for the mind.

I can't believe freaking cheat days???? What the hell my body can only digest so much garbage, seriously. Once you progress far enough you'll see what I'm talking about. Victor Martinez and a bunch of other top guys talk about how eating too much junk makes them sick b/c you become a high performance machine and it needs high performance fuel. But when your out shape (14%+) or have never been at a low body fat its a different story

Yeah I'll be right back on the diet, decided to catch a rebound instead of taking a break. I'll probably cheat a few times but once I load back on the carbs I'll be back to normal and not crave shit anymore. No cheat days. I had to do that at the beach in the hotel a couple of years ago and it was miserable, absolutely miserable.

I would say one cheat meal would do you well .

When I overeat I regret it the following day .

ye why? I have never had negative reactions to only eating 2 types of food. I have been eating chicken and rice almost everyday for the last 2 years and my body responds very well in terms of muscle growth and fat-loss.
I am, however, going to add tuna into my daily diet

Food doesn't contain only pro, carbs and fat. Two years are not so much time for your body.

I'm guessing your curious what it took to get shape like that

I'm sure you can understand that a good contest prep diet is not one diet always through, its changing week by week if not sometimes day by day. And in that same breathe as will my stats. In bodybuilding stats are unimportant its giving the illusion of size, with symmetry, and most importantly ones conditioning.

Ending weight once water was dropped, extremely low body fat, sodium depleted was 5'11'' and a bit over 200lbs. You can view my current pics in the reed flex mag thread in the lounge and the changes that can happen within 48 hours. No I didn't I haven't used any RX diuretics, dandelion root......

My contest diet went from the start of Narks depletions diet (has carbs but works wonders), to a grow to show diet, to backing off the carbs a bit, to rotation of carbs, to the depletion diet I dialed in which contained

    Cals: 2420
    Protein: 330
    Fats: 120
    Carbs: insignificant

Now I know you about to break out your cal and wonder how that works out but remember I can get more protein, less cals through fish versus red meat.

My activity level with this final diet was cardio 2x a day (45 min morning, 30 min PWO) and training 6x a week, everything twice a week.

Still was able to pull out some heavy lifts, barbellrows (275 x10), free weight BB shrugs( 495 x7 ), front delt hammer press (360 x5),

and during legs after pre exhausting with 2 exercies of calves, 3 for hammies, glutes, leg press, AND ALSO having pulled my right quad muscle (it was swollen all to shit, Phate and Nark saw it) in prep a mere 3 weeks ago I busted out 315 x10 DEEP squats while being depleted

Yes welcome to hardcore bodybuilding, I'ma about to peel over from the lack of food contest dieting.

Reads like a waste of time to me.

I really can't see how you justify scarfing down 'thousands of calories' from 'cake or whatever'... period.
