Had my yearly physical done recently and my uric acid level was high. This makes me a likely candidate for gout, which I want no part of. I've known people who've had it and they said it hurts like hell. I've done some reading and I do not eat a lot of red meat or drink alot. I do eat a lot of shrimp and salmon. Can whey protien increase the risk of gout? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
