Honestly i don't know when an "ideal" time would be to stop eating while cutting before sleeping.

But personally I try to taper carbs off a a certain point of the day and continue to have a little bit of fats and carbs.

Something you should look for around here is a couple threads on carb cycling.

When I cut I usually wake up at 8 a.m and get most of my carbs for the day and continue eating normally and then around 2 or 3 p.m. I cut out my carbs for the day and increase my fats and proteins. All within my macros of course. Even when I am cutting I still eat something before bed like a low-fat cottage cheese with some whey protein.

It all depends on if you are eating within your macros brother!

like chris said theres nothing wrong with eating before bed no matter what ur doing. my last meal while cutting is usually cottage cheese and natty pb or sometimes an omelette consisting of 1whole egg and 5-8 egg whites..

You can eat right before you hit the pillow if you want to. As stated above, I would avoid carbs in my bedtime meal when cutting.
