Hey 405, here you go.....
5'7
43 yrs old
188 lbs
14% bf last week (was down to 8-10% a year ago before I started bulking slowly)
I train 5 days consecutively plus three days of fasted cardio on 3 of the 5 strength training days. Trying to increase LBM from 188lbs to 215lbs. My intake ranges from 3500-4000 daily with macros at 300-350g; 60-65g; 400-500g (protein;fats;carbs). Heaviest I've ever been is 200lbs but was carrying almost 20% bf and it was unpleasant (resulted mostly from a dirty bulk). In 2009 when I started training hard I went from 145-200lbs from 2009-2011.
Veggies I eat raw: broccoli, carrots, snow peas, tomatoes, cauliflower, cucumber.

Weighed 212 this morning so I'm treating my self to a Sonic Oreo blast after eating 2lb of pork tenderloin, green beans, and grilled potatoes. Besides one protein and 6 eggs that's all I have have today.

with macros like that u should feel good all day (not hungry )
i put on fat at 3000-3500cals but i was doing no cardio.. not a lot went from 7.8% to 9.something over 2months.. i have managed to get back to the same bf% and weigh 10lbs more though maybe i should try it again .. (last time i didnt even try to gain i was just slack with my "maintenance diet" macros )
never really bulked before cuz i have always been fat and cutting until this past year.
noted on the veggies.. thx.

Well this year, since january has been sh1t for me as far as training goes, that why I say my whole lifes a cheat meal LOL.... Diet and training have both take a back seat for no reason other than a lack of motivation...
Im just back off a 2 week holiday and hopefully from here on out thing will pick up for me....
My avi is old and i wish I looked like that now, I have gained some BF since then and been going forward and backwards trying to decide of I wanna gain weight or cut fat pretty much since January... Which has obviously got me nowhere except fatter and with plenty of self doubt...
Ive figured that the reason im not happy is because I wanna be lean and grow slowly maintaining around 10%BF year round.... Once im at 10% I will just bounce between 6 weeks of gainnng and 3ish weeks of cutting... Im gona try and get to 10% with only 25 mins of cardio 4 times a week, a swim and maybe a MTB ride... See what a tight diet can do in time.
Any way day 1 has been ok so far, 50g oats, 300ml egg whites, 60g whey, 16oz chicken breast, 100g rice.... Ughhhh, just another 50g oats, 300ml egg whites, 60g whey and my fish and broccoli soup (tonight will be the first attempt at this LOL, If its any good I will post it up on here).
Im guna have a read thru ur thread l8r, ur IF'ing rite?

That sounds like what I usually do! I never really eat unhealthy and if I do it's like a salad dressing or a sweet of some sort.

its not about being healthy or unhealthy, IMO a cheat meal should have a proper balance of all macros. For example a pizza contains only fat and carbs with minimal protein. But eating lets say 2 slices of pizzas and a chicken breast would be ok for me.

Yeah exactly I strongly believe in each meal containing a quality amount of protein, carbs and fats. You're like me with this cue.

I used to eat a pie on my cheat day but it really ****ed me up too much. I only have this sandwhich about once a month.
I agree with trying to keep cheat meal balanced

Yeah man my cheat used to be Natty PBj on Ezekiel but by the last bite I would find myself stuffing my face inside the jar for another 10 min- that caught up to me so I usually just go healthy all the time I feel like cheat meals slow me down actually.. Lol

yeh pizza is unhealthy but it tastes dang good! my full blown cheats are usually once a month. i dont schedule them. just whenever life calls for them which is usually when my wife insists on going out to eat. ill take her to carabbas (her fav restaurant) and ill have a good bit of bread with oil and herbs, 2 or 3 cheese sticks, a salad, and a whole personal pepperoni pizza. carbs and fat loaded but it tastes good. im not about to give that up.
a more frequent cheat for me would be what i hed sunday and posted above. minus the ice cream and cookies usually

I manage to work my cheat meals into my macros/calories. Even pizzas, obviously not the best form of fats and carbs, but hey..

405, I agree with you that pizza is one of the best tasting foods and you hardly find people who dont like eating pizza . But the next time you eat a whole pizza I want you to monitor your self in the mirror and see how much your body changes this day alone. I had times where I did eat large pizza's and it takes me around 3 days with zero starchy carbs to remove all the water gained + an additional 2 weeks of strict dieting to get back to the weight I had before eating it. So now whenever I eat in a restraunt I always try to choose some foods which would benifit me as a bodybuilder, taste good , and wont set me back from my goals alot .
