Pwo what do you do?
Curious what you guys eat after your workout, I've always just takin a protein shake with high carbs but now I've got 2 mates that actually compete, they were telling me they do there workout then wait around half an hour and then just eat a meal, usually steak and pasta. N these guys are huge. What's your thoughts on this or what do you do? They do eat 1 hour before their workout aswell....

I just make sure i hit my macros for the day and don't worry about pwo meal timing or protein:carb ratio for pwo meal or any of that other nonsense. Just my opinion though
This topic has been beaten to death lately and everybody has their own protocol that works best for them......just do whatever works best for you.

Depends but I never do high gi crbs anymore unless im using slin. Sometimes its a shake with oats...sometimes a solid meal. I fit things more i my life now rather than this being my life so whatever is convenient.I have noticed no difference. Like has been pointed out ..hitting macros is most important.

Agreed on all the above. I do 2 scoops protein blend (1 ON Pro Complex, 1 ON Casein) and 1/2 cup oats when cutting, bumped to 1 cup oats + an apple when trying to add mass. The only reason for the shake is for the sake of convenience. I leave the gym in the morning and drive straight to work, so I need something fast I can have right in my truck in the gym parking lot. Otherwise, I'd be eating a big ass meal - canadian bacon, eggs, yogurt, etc.
