    rice dream or nightmare

So ive been experimenting with milk altrenatives like almond milk soy milk and now this one called rice dream. Its not bad tasting, 140cal 2.5g fat 29g carb (11 sugar) & 0.4g protein per 250ml. Seems like a not bad carb source in drinkable format. Maybe pre workout ?? Lite on the stomach, doesnt give me gas, etc.

    Thoughts? Experiences?

I don't know. I'm not into all the processed food. So it starts off as rice, and they process it, stripping off the husk, and losing all the nutrients. And then how is it made?

    yes.

I only eat whole brown rice, which includes the germ, kernel AND the husk.

but you didn't answer my question.

what is the rest of the process for making this "milk" you are thinking of drinking?

see, I don't like to eat food if I don't know how it's made, which rules out most processed food...

true, brown rice is a little coarser than the processed white rice most eat. But nutritionally, white rice doesn't have much, and without the husk, then it really doesn't have any fiber either.

Your body needs both nutrients and fiber. Why else would you eat white rice? because it tastes good??? =)

at least you can pronounce all the ingredients.

that's the other thing. If I can't pronounce it, I usually won't eat it if I know about it.
